- This is a walking tour. All guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace. We travel approximately 1.5 miles spread out over the 2.5 hours with plenty of breaks and rests.

Highly recommend booking this tour, especially with Dan as your tour guide. He was AMAZING! Truly informative and passionate about his job that he’s had for 40 years!!!! Our guide made it very simplistic, and has a solid flow- NO WAITING IN LINES. He was very prepared, friendly and truly made the tour come to life. We will definitely be back with our kiddos, and we plan to book again with Dan! 🫶 Thank you for making our first trip to Niagara Falls so incredible. We won’t forget it!

Dave was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a large walking group of varying ages, and he was able to navigate the tour stops well so everyone could keep up. Two thumbs up!

Our tour guide Dave is very knowledgeable and combined his and his past family's history in and around the area.
This is definitely a must do experience. Don’t go to the falls without doing a boat tour. You won’t regret this tour.
Very good tour for a fair price, you do get to go in before other people because you are with a guide, the tour was filled with information about the Falls, you don’t feel rushed and get to experience the Falls closely, would recommend a 100%

Big shoutout to Sean our tour guide. His group was bigger than usual, and he handled us all like a champ. Well paced walking tour with ample stops to admire the scenery around us, and take in the local knowledge. Bonus for us getting tips and tricks for the boat ride that others definitely wish they had before getting on the boat.

Gord was awesome. I did the tour the day of my birthday and was lost before we even started the tour. I was able to call him to get directions to the meeting spot and he waited for me before even starting! He made the tour so fun, informative and comfortable making sure everyone was present and okay! Couldn’t ask for a better tour guide. When I come back again, I am personally requesting for Gord!!!

Our guide Diane was great. The whole experience was fun. As first time Niagara visitors this is the tour we wanted to do and we were not disappointed. Be aware that it is a walking tour-lots of walking or standing so be prepared for that.

Wonderful tour group. Provided excellent text messages with location details. Marni was fantastic tour guide, knowledgeable and interested in sharing facts about falls. They keep smaller group size which was appreciated. She adjusted walking pace to accommodate other group members. Tunnel walk and boat ride met expectations! Highly recommend this tour group.

We almost called this tour the 'All Angles Tour of Niagara Falls' because that is one of our primary goals. See the Falls from above, ground level, water level and from behind. :)

Our guide, Marni, demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of Niagara Falls' historical context and exhibited commendable patience and kindness. However, we recommend equipping guides with a microphone system to enhance audibility. The tour received a four-star rating instead of five due to an incident where approximately 75% of the group became separated without the guide's inquiry. A young member of our party was briefly misplaced, and subsequently, the group fragmented. The guide proceeded to the boat ride destination, seemingly unaware of the significant portion of the group that was no longer present. Consequently, we waited at the boat launch for 45 minutes. It would have been beneficial for the guide to ascertain the group's whereabouts and offer the option to rejoin for the journey to the boat launch. Given the investment made in this tour, we would have appreciated the opportunity to benefit from the guide's insights regarding the river and the Falls during the walk to the boat launch.

Hey James, I totally get the feeling that a microphone would be handy.. we felt the same way and decided to try it our a while back but pivoted away from it after feedback from both the guests and guides said it was impersonal and impractical. Unfortunately the con's outweigh the pro's in terms of using a microphone.
As for the group becoming separated, Marni was aware that a portion of the group decided to venture on ahead of her and the rest of the group, against her recommendations and instructions, a decision they made to appease a couple very young members of the group.
Our guides have never and would never leave any part of their groups behind.
Wonderful experience! Dave, our guide was very knowledgeable and shared so much information while we walked to each activity. Plenty of time at both activities. Would definitely recommend!

The highlight of the Journey Behind the Falls experience is the observation deck. It's the closest anyone has ever been to the falls (other than those who have gone over in barrels)
We had such a great time on this tour! Our guide was super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He explained everything really well and made the whole experience fun and interesting. We really enjoyed the trip and would definitely recommend this tour!

Fabulous guide. Gord was that best teacher you had- enthusiastic, engaging, and fun. This world wonder was made better by his mini presentations on the history, on the hydroelectric system, and the legends tied to the Falls. Also loved the boat trip right up close to the falls. Great experience.

Diane was an amazingly knowledgeable and personable tour guide!! We could have hung out and talked with her all day. We also really enjoyed meeting and speaking with the other members of our tour. The boat ride up to the falls was one of the best experiences of my life. I would highly recommend this tour and this guide to everyone, especially at the earliest time of day while its less crowded and potentially cooler in the summer.

While the behind the falls experience and the boat ride were both amazing the highlight of our trip was our tour guide Sean. Sean’s warmth and hospitality were on full display throughout our tour. He managed our group of 24 guests expertly while sharing the history of the area and falls with all of us. I highly recommend this tour.

This Niagara Falls tour is advertised as Journey behind the Falls and boat tour. However it is also a walking tour of 1 1/2 miles plus you have to walk back to your hotel or parking which for us was a total of 2 1/2 miles. 3 of 4 of us are senior citizens with back issues. One person with a scheduled hip replacement for September. We were not warned of the extent to the amount of walking, stopping, standing while tour guide narrated 5-6 spots along the walks. There is no shuttle either.

Hi there, as explained during our email communications, we make the fact that there is a guided walking tour component as clear as we can within the product details.
We make mention of it in the overview, in the what's included section, within the itinerary and finally again in the additional information section.
The walking tour element is also illustrated in most of the pictures and mentioned often in the product reviews by happy customers.
We do this not to warn people, we do this to entice people because the guided walking tour of all the best sights and stories surrounding Niagara Falls is many people's favorite part of the experience.
Our tour guides are the best and most experienced in Niagara Falls and the back bone of our company and the experience.
We also include the starting location of the tour within the product info before you book, as well as in all of the pre-tour reminders that we send out 7 days before the tour as well as the night before the tour through a text directly from your tour guide.
We encourage everyone to read the information of the product they're booking so they know what they're booking.
We had such a great time on this tour! It was fun from start to finish and Diane was wonderful—so friendly, knowledgeable and just a lot of fun to be with. She really made the whole experience even better. We loved every minute of it and would absolutely recommend it!

The lines were absolutely ridiculous. The boat itself is amazing but it was totally tainted by the wait on the front end and especially the back end . Over 45 minutes waiting for an elevator. Give your customers the option to walk out … gotta be a way to do it.

Agreed! The boat attraction has had some hiccups this season for sure. Those wait times are unacceptable and we're going to do whatever we can as a local tour provider to make sure similar days are avoided going forward. I totally understand your feelings about your experience.
Luckily this is not the norm and in many cases the lines are minimal or our guides are able to bypass them with their groups entirely. Especially when people book our earlier start times.
