Excellent tour of Bavaria. Paul was an amazing tour guide...very informative and entertaining. He was especially patient with our son who was captivated by the snow, as we don't get much of it where we live.

The castle was wonderful. Would have liked to spend more time in Oberammergau.
Ettal Abbey was a wasted stop. We saw the church but our guide gave little info about it

Shpendi was our tour guide and he did an excellent job of giving us the historical background and facts. He did a perfect job of scheduling and making the most of our time. We really enjoyed the tour it was a great use of our time and we learned a lot.

Lucas was an excellent guide. The day was easy, well organized and interesting. The tours of Neuschwanstein Castle, Ettal Abbey and Oberammergau were great. Personally, we would have preferred going to Linderhof Palace instead of Ettal Abbey and Oberammergau. The first, while beautiful, does not offer much to see beyond the church and the second is more a tourist town when the Passion Play is not performing. That said, a great day and a great guide. Depends on how much time you have. We only had one day to/from Munich.

Neuschwanstein Castle is incredible. We did the day tour from Munich. Stayed at Beyond which is located directly on the Marienplatz. In addition to the castle we stopped in Oberammergau for lunch. It is a beautiful small town. Then on to Ettal Abbey, which was just down the road. All in all a great day and we had good weather. Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, prompt and safe. He had a wealth of knowledge that he readily shared when asked and more often just freely. David Wolf was his name I believe. Please also be sure to tip your guides!

Awful tour. Guide’s behavior and dress was totally unprofessional. Some of his information was inaccurate. Made nasty comments about Indian tourists and how they smell (we are white Americans). Had a patch on his bag that according to Newsweek often represents white nationalists. Would give this guy zero stars if I could.

The trip went great. Driver met us at our hotel very punctual. Took us to the castle was very knowledgeable and new exactly where to go to avoid crowds.

Our family of four had an incredible journey with an outstanding guide in David. We learned so much in our conversations with David and he was extremely accommodating to all of our requests. If David is your guide on any tour, then you are set for a great time and anything else you do is icing on the cake. He provided recommendations to us through out the day that made this experience much more enjoyable than a larger group tour. While the Castle is the headliner, the Ettal Abbey was beyond our expectations and will leave us a lasting impression. Moments of silence in a beautiful sanctuary is a perfect ending to a very fulfilling day.

Our guide, Martin, was engaging and very knowledgable about the castle, the history of Bavaria and many other things. It was a fun conversation the entire day. We had greate weather and the castle and the landscape were beautiful. Oberammergau was interesting - be sure to explore more than the main street to see the painted houses. Ettal Abbey was also stunning. A great day overall!

We had an incredible experience on this private tour to Neauschwanstein. Our guide Martin was very knowledgeable and accommodating, and the additions of Oberammergau and Ettal Abbey allowed us to see parts of Germany we would’ve never experienced otherwise. Martin shared facts about the castle/King Ludwig/areas we drove through. It was nice not to have to plan tickets to the castle or worry about driving directions or the like. I definitely recommend this tour!
