Itinerary

6-hour tour:Your driver will meet you at your Mumbai hotel around 2pm and transport you in private, air-conditioned comfort to SJ Studio in Andheri, which is famous for its Bollywood productions.

Upon arrival, make a stop in one of the studios, where your guide will provide a brief introduction about India’s diverse and colorful film industry. Learn about the 67,000 films that have been produced in some 30 languages and gain a deeper understanding of the history of this incredible art form. Travel back in time to the 1930s, when sound was first introduced to the moving picture and learn about the influence of dance, music and song in Bollywood Hindu storytelling.

After the welcome and introduction, you will tour well-designed sets where feature films, TV shows and ads are often being filmed. Get an up close look at the production side as you watch professionals in action. This unique experience grants nearly unlimited access to the world of moviemaking. Learn about set design dubbing, editing, publicity and stunt doubles. Maybe even pose with one of the stars (subject to availability and approval. During shooting, guests must view from specified distance to avoid disrupting the film team).

Once you’ve experienced the backstage wonder of Bollywood in Mumbai, pass through the studio gates like a star and meet your private driver, who will return you to your hotel.

9-hour tour:Once you’ve completed your studio tour, meet your private driver who will transport you to the neighborhoods of Juhu and Bandra—home to numerous Bollywood stars. Catch a screening of a Bollywood film at the Art Deco Regal Theater on the Colaba Causeway. Finally, enjoy a traditional Indian dinner at a nearby restaurant where you’ll recap the day’s adventures before returning to the hotel in your private vehicle.

Tour was a waste of time. Guide was extremely unprofessional and didn't do anything. Feel lied to as in description it said about meeting actors and seeing filming etc and thins did not happened. Spent money on something I didn't even experience.

Was fun getting so close to the actual filming of 2 shows and learning about some of the tricks behind special effects in film making. The guides were fun and very informative. Viewing a Bollywood film after was a good way to finish a great tour.
