We were a bit apprehensive initially but this was the best part of our trip to Meteroa. Evan our guide was knowledgeable, it was just the 2 of us and it was just like having a personal guide to the region. The initial climb up the holly Spirit is the hardest part but worth it. We are ovcasional hikers and it was all manageable. Well worth the effort as we got more out of this than the Monasteries tour the next morning. The off the beaten track of the well worn Monastery tour, experiencing the magic of Meteroa from the bottom up!! Thank you Evan - you were amazing.

Meteora was a highlight of our Greece trip and this tour was the highlight of that highlight. Hiking up and between the monoliths was beautiful. The Hermit Cave, the bell and the sunset were also fantastic. The most exposed section is a ladder climb but I honestly didn't find it too exposed. I'd say it was moderate for experienced hikers. Well worth the trip.

This is a moderate to some challenging rocks
to climb, bring good traction shoes and be prepared to work out. Reaching the peak and the bell at top of mountain was well worth it. Evangelos our guide was excellent and knowledgeable visited the St George mantilla on way back as well as some clear shots of monasteries.

Chris was an absolutely amazing guide alongside his partner. Kept conversation the entire time in a way that greatly enhanced the experience. He is very knowledgeable about all the different places we went to during the hike including the history, geology, flora, fauna, culture, and more. He seemed to have a deep connection with the landscape with obvious passion for what he does. Very charismatic, friendly, and curious, while being considerate and respectful. Truly the highlight of my trip.

My son had problems with his foot on the actual day, but we were able to join on another day, great. My son then went alone later, because the path was a bit uneven for me. He liked it a lot. Very nice and knowledgeable tour guide. We found a Greek tortoise, but you are not allowed to pick it up because they are highly protected, but it is great to observe.
