- The monasteries of Meteora impose a dress code for visitors. Men are required to wear long trousers and shirts with sleeves. Women must wear skirts that fall below the knee (trousers are not permitted) and cover their shoulders. Alternatively, women can use a long scarf wrapped around the waist to meet the dress code requirements.
- The monasteries of Meteora only accept cash for the entrance fees (€5 per person/monastery).
- To use our free audio guide, please be sure to bring your smartphone and earphones with you.

The tour was very detailed and had lots of opportunities to see different monastaries from the outside and go inside 3. Depending on the day will possibly depend on which you go in as they each close on different days. We got to see Great Meteora, Varlaam and St Nicholas. We stopped at different vantage points along the way too. Our guide Vasili was very knowledgeable and could answer so many of our questions after each stop.

Reliable convenient tour. Hotel pickup was very convenient. Parking at the monasteries with our own car would have been difficult and this solved that problem. The guide on the bus was informative and helpful. Enough time was given at each stop to see the monasteries.

This was the perfect tour for us. We are older, and we were able to manage everything just fine. We had the perfect combination of photo ops and full exploration of three of the monasteries. Truly, a once-in-a lifetime experience!

Our guide was great explaining the history of the monasteries of Meteora and sites. At each stop, we could explore the buildings and museum on our own. It was obvious that a mini van was the way to visit the area. Parking for cars was almost non-existent.

Fantastic tour. Trust me- you do not want to try to visit the Meteora without a tour guide. Meteora gets packed and there are zero places to park and the driving can be dangerous. Our tour bus picked us up at our Air BnB. We learned the history behind Meteora and each Monastery. We did not feel rushed and all. Highly recommend.

El servicio es lo que se ofrece, pero no es un tour, en realidad es un servicio de traslado a los monasterios, en mi caso llegue en la zona en auto rentado y solo me sirvio para que me llevaran a 3 monasterios y dieran un par de datos en el camino, te dejan en uno y luego te llevan al siguiente. Pude hacerlo por mi cuenta en el auto, no me aporto realmente nada, yo no lo recomiendo si lo que buscan es un tour con alguna explicación, consideren que solo sera el traslado, yo lo recomiendo mas hacerlo por su cuenta o buscar un tour con guia en el interior de los monasterios aunque sea mas caro.
