Very good tour with ontime pick-up.
The guide has explained a lot of things and the time spent on the way from a monastery to another was very productive.

it was one of the most scenic tour and it was made special due to our guide who had a good knowledge and had been extremely helpful as well to patiently explain all our questions. its best to stay a day in Meteora and have a morning tour done to avoided crowds

The tour guide and driver did a great job. Forgot their names but wonderful just the same. He really knows a lot and was funny too. Definitely recommend. We never would have made it to the monasteries without a bus and guide.

Great tour and learned a lot! Guide was especially good at taking photos for solo travelers! Got to see several of the monasteries and the guide told us a lot about the others that we didn't see.

The narrating was great. The van was full so the guide stood in the middle. Lots of great info. Not sure why the cost of going into the monasteries is not included.

Wonderful experience made all the more special with the informative and enthusiastic commentary from our tour guide Apostolis. You could tell he was passionate about the area and the Monasteries he grew up in! Our driver Dinos was friendly and would take photos for us, and was an exceptional driver considering the steep roads he would navigate. Be prepared for lots of stairs, but the end result is worth it!

We had a driver and tour guide for this trip. The tour guide is excellent & very knowledgeable about the Meteora Monasteries. Do prepare to do a lot of walking up & down hundreds of steps into the Monasteries. It is so worth it. Highly recommended. Again, Viator should have the tour companies use WhatsApp to confirm pick up time and date a day before tour or for communicate not only thru Viator App communication.

We would absolutely recommend this tour. The views were breathtaking. Vasilis was awesome! He was incredibly knowledge and funny, a great guide. He and our driver, who's name I can't remember, were also incredibly helpful with taking good, memorable photos. One thing to note is Vasilis and the driver did not enter the monasteries. So if you're looking for a detailed history lesson on the monasteries' interiors and art, a private tour maybe better. However Vasilis did give a wealth of information before entering and pointed out things to look for in the monasteries. We were very happy with tour and would recommend.

Really enjoyed visiting 4 monasteries. Although they may seem similar, each one is slightly different and has a different but equally stunning view. My only complaint is that 9 of the 13 on our tour had done the sunset tour the day before, and we repeated a monastery - I wish we could have skipped that and seen or done something different.

Wonderful tour. Unique area with fantastic views and incredible history. Vaggelis is a guid that we would recommend - he grew up in Kalambaka and knows all about it. We visited 3 monasteries and stopped a few times for a breathtaking panoramic views to take photos. All took a few hours, we started at 9 and finished around 13.00

We were so glad that we booked this tour in Meteora. The monasteries were breathtakingly beautiful and our guide was great and knew where to take the best photos. We were a little nervous about how difficult the walk would be to climb up but it was not difficult at all.
