What are people saying about Ohrid

Great day out.
Great, friendly staff.
Reasonably priced drinks on board.
No guide or commentary, but if you've done your homework beforehand you'll know about the place/s you're visiting.
Bay of Bones is a quick 20 min ish stop. Interesting archeology but you won't be missing a great deal if you look at it from the landing stage. 150mkd, just over £2 to have a look.
St Naum was nice. 150mkd to get in the main church, we wandered in with a group. Its very beautiful inside but you'll literally be in there for minutes as its very small.
You can get a row boat ride 300mkd pp on the fresh water lake that's fed from the mountains. Never in my life have I seen such clear water. Lake water is totally drinkable.
Take your swim things as you'll definitely have time for a swim in the lake.
There are restaurants but we took our own lunch as didn't know what waiting time for meals were.
All in all we found it a great trip. €20 pp if booked in ohrid as opposed to €45 with tui. Row boat ride included with tui.

Our driver/guide,...
Our driver/guide, Michael, was knowledgeable and a lot of fun. My adult children enjoyed talking with him. His colloquial English was excellent! Winery tour with descriptions of wine/rakia/gin making processes was great and the generous charcuterie board and sampled wines and rakia were delicious! Winery staff were all very warm and hospitable. Purchasing some bottles before we left was a must!

We had a lovely relaxed...
We had a lovely relaxed evening sipping our complimentary drinks and taking in the beautiful lakefront and sunset. Bar onboard made nice cocktails for added cost for anyone wanting more. Length of cruise was perfect. Seats on board are first come first serve, so get there early!

More Than a Cooking Class, A Core Memory
This was one of the most special experiences of my trip.
Because it was so close to Easter, it ended up being a private 1-on-1 experience, which made it even more personal and meaningful.
Sonja welcomed me into her home like family, and I was lucky enough to also meet her mother and mother-in-law, which made it feel even more authentic.
We cooked together in her apartment kitchen, completely hands-on, with coffee, conversation, and so much warmth. It didn’t feel like a class at all, more like spending time with family, learning, laughing, and sharing stories.
Her husband even kindly picked me up and later we all enjoyed a beautiful walk back into town together.
If you’re looking for something real, personal, and full of heart in Ohrid, this is it.
A truly unforgettable experience.
