Viator and Mérida elite sent guide Carlos and driver Alex in a nice van arriving punctually to hotel. Educational and entertaining day thanks to articulate and knowledgeable guide Carlos. Mayapan site was uncrowded and interesting. There’s so much to learn about this area and Carlos is a great teacher. Our first private tour (not a group). Well worth the additional cost. The lunch at Santa Barbara was the best meal all week. Lime soup and empanadas! Viator is reliable, consistent and worth the extra cost. They hire outstanding ambassadors.

Enjoyed this tour. Interesting site near Merida. Pretty much had the site to myself. The tour operator and the tour guide were first class. The tour guide, Carlos, was exceptional.
