A fun hike to Martinique's dry...

A fun hike to Martinique's dry savannah. Eric added many interesting nature facts, especially about the local plants. the birds were few and far between the morning we hiked. The bridge in the photo? It's a bridge to nowhere - it's necessary to get over the deepest, fastest moving part of the channel, but you need to either hop across slippery rocks on either side of the bridge, or more simply and probably safer, simply wade through the water. Trail is well marked with small markers, and includes some descriptive signage. Good views of Diamond, the Atlantic and the Caribbean.
