This was a great tour, walk wasn't to strenuous and we tried the local delicacies. It was very hot but our guide Camille provided water. Probably not a tour for children.
Camille was great, knew her stuff, was funny and friendly. If you have her as your guide you will have a great experience. She knew all the food hosts and particularly the vegetable market traders so we learnt a lot about the food and fresh fruit and veg available in Martinique.
Great tour.

I did this walking tour solo and had a great overall experience. After booking, the team reached out to confirm my cruise port details and provided clear instructions on where to meet, which made everything very easy. Our tour guide, Camille, was thoughtful and even had water available for us.
We did quite a bit of walking, but each of the food stops offered delicious tastings and gave us a chance to experience different local spots. One minor issue was at the rum tasting location, where there wasn’t enough seating to accommodate our group, so we had to stand off to the side while sampling.
My main suggestion would be to incorporate a bit more storytelling throughout the tour to make it feel more engaging and interactive. It would also be nice if a few of the stops had seating available, even briefly, since there is a lot of walking.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely book this tour again.

Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you had a great experience and that Camille helped make your tour enjoyable and smooth from start to finish.
We truly appreciate your suggestions regarding storytelling and seating at certain stops, as well as your comment about the rum tasting. This is very helpful and will be shared with our team to enhance the experience.
Thank you again for your trust, and we look forward to welcoming you on another tour soon! 🌴

There isn't much food with much of the emphasis on cultural sites but I found it interesting. Our guide was very friendly and welcoming.

We would like to mention that the experience includes 4 food stops over 3 hours, featuring a variety of local specialties, with a strong focus on tastings throughout the tour.

The tour guide was fantastic—very knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Martinique. I learned a lot about the island’s history and culture, which was the highlight of the experience.
However, I was disappointed by the amount of food. For something advertised as a food tour, there was very little actual food involved. It felt much more like a walking history tour with a few tastings rather than a true culinary experience.
If you’re interested in history and sightseeing, you’ll enjoy this. But if you’re booking specifically for food, you may want to manage your expectations.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour guide’s knowledge and passion, and that discovering Martinique’s history and culture was a highlight for you.
We’re also sorry to hear that the culinary aspect did not fully meet your expectations. Your comment is very valuable, and we will use it to better clarify the nature of the experience and review the balance between cultural discovery and food tastings.
Thank you again for your honest feedback—it helps us continue to improve. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again for an experience that better matches your expectations.

Great information on the history of island. Expected a bit more food from a walking history and food tour.
Response from Host, Mar 2025
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback.
We understand that many guests are interested in learning more about the island, particularly during this tour. While we strive to provide as much information as possible, the three-hour timeframe does present some limitations. We prioritize an interactive experience, which naturally balances informative commentary with engaging activities.

Good shoes, water and curiosity.
It’s a bit expensive as an activity, but enlarged. A good way to learn about the history of Martinique
