My cooking class with Abdelmoula in Marrakech was one of the highlights of my trip! From the moment I arrived, he made me feel at home and shared his love for Moroccan food and culture with so much passion. We cooked together in a warm, friendly atmosphere using fresh local ingredients, and I learned so many authentic techniques and recipes. The meal we shared at the end was incredible — flavorful, traditional, and made with love. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to experience the real taste of Morocco in a local home. --- Would you like me to make a French version too, in case you want to post it on a local platform or for French-speaking tourists?

Amazing experience with a nice guide

I joined a cooking class in Marrakech led by Abdul, who immediately made everyone feel welcome with his friendly, patient manner and deep knowledge of Moroccan cuisine. We began with a colorful walk through a neighborhood market, where Abdul pointed out the best spices, fresh herbs, olives, preserved lemons, and seasonal produce, explaining how each ingredient is used and suggesting substitutions for different tastes. Back in a sunlit, beautifully kept local kitchen, he guided us step-by-step through preparing a classic tajine, demonstrating techniques like browning, layering flavors, and using the right spice balance while encouraging us to try every step ourselves. The class was hands-on but relaxed — Abdul mixed instruction with stories about Moroccan food culture and practical tips for recreating the dishes at home. We cooked, chatted, and laughed over small challenges (and a few spice mishaps), then sat down together to enjoy the meal we’d made, which was richly flavored and absolutely delicious. Abdul also shared printable recipes and advice on where to buy authentic spices in Marrakech, making the experience both fun and genuinely useful. Highly recommended for anyone who wants an authentic, memorable cooking experience in Marrakech.

I took a cooking class in Marrakech with a local guide Abdul, he was warm, knowledgeable and passionate about Moroccan cuisine. He took us to a local market first to learn about fresh spices, herbs and ingredients, then we cooked a tajine together, step by step, in a beautiful local kitchen, the clas was hands-on, relaxed, and full of laughter. The food turned out delicious, highly recommended for anyone visiting Marrakech.

WOW what an experience that was yesterday! A cooking class with our family and English students in the middle of the medina. So much fun to work together under the inspiring guidance of the cook and then eat the result together at a set table. In between we also got to hear some fun facts and knowledge about Moroccan cuisine and the rituals in the country. The contact with the other guests was also nice. Value for money definitely a 10 as far as we are concerned! We highly recommend it to others.
