The palm grove was more like a waste ground. The camel handler made sure he asked for his tip before reaching the end of the ride and wanted more than we gave him. Watch out for the photographer who will arrive half way through your trip and then expect pay there and then.

A fun experience for parents and teenagers

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and Stefano was extremely attentive and friendly. My daughter who is a teenager was petrified by the camels but Stefano put her at ease.

Confirmation of booking and further confirmation of hotel pick up time was prompt. Driver arrived exactly at time stated and straight to the Palmearie. Quickly dressed and onto the Camel and a lovely ride around the Palmearie, followed by Mint tea. Was a nice break from the city centre. Total time out was about 2 hours, was given the option of 30 minutes or 1 hour for the Camel ride.
