Thoroughly enjoyed this tour and it is definitely worth booking if you are staying in Marrakech. Hassan was our guide and he was very friendly, accomodating and knowledgable. He even helped my autistic brother with the hike to the waterfall. The day had plenty to see, with a visit to see argon oil being produced, with a hike up Atlas Mountain to see the breathtaking waterfall and then a lovely Berber lunch with mountain views. We came back to the hotel around 4:30pm which worked well for us. Ensure you bring hiking boots or comfortable shoes to the walk.

Ibrahim was a wonderful tour guide. Be advised though, this is a proper hike. It is 1 1/2 hours of hiking uphill at about 6,000 feet. I was not able to do the hike due to the altitude, but Ibrahim and Mustafa (the driver) were very accommodating. The breakfast and stop at the co-op were okay, but the lunch was amazing. Definitely recommend for those looking for an active excursion from Marrakesh.

Great tour lunch was amazing and Mostapha our walking guide was amazing. You get your money's worth.

Very enjoyable experience . Our Guide Ibrahim was excellent. We could not praise him enough . Some of the terrain on the walk was challenging at times and he waited and helped people.

We were picked up close to our Riad, promptly. Our guide Ibrahim gave us a rundown of the days activities, even offering us an extra stop at a once a week market however, we were all happy skipping (I think we were all not shopping types).
We made a few stops on the way to the mountain which broke the journey up. One at an Argan oil cooperative.
The mountain walk was nice, not too difficult even in the heat, ibrahim did a wonderful job of helping us on a few of the trickier parts. He took photos for us a key points and kept an eye making sure everyone was okay,
At lunch we enjoyed a wonderful meal at the home of a berber family. Ibrahim served us the beautiful dishes. It was a wonderful day and we were very grateful to Ibrahim and our driver.

Quite gentle paced for a mointain trek and the tour guide was lovely and understanding of those who needed more time. The meal at the berber was amazing and topped the whole experience off nicely. I'd highly recommend this tour and definitely through Viator.

Amazing experience having a brief walk through the breathtaking scenery of the Atlas Mountains. Mohamed guided the group at a suitable pace while imparting his knowledge of the area while we were walking. The views of the waterfall were amazing! The trip ended with a fantastic tagine at a local place where we enjoyed the food while staring in awe at the majestic view.

This tour was not what was promised. The listing included bottled water, breakfast, hotel pickup and drop-off, mint tea, and an English-speaking guide. Unfortunately, many of these things were either missing or misrepresented.
The afternoon before the tour, I received a message saying I would need to walk 15 minutes to meet the guide and driver. When I asked why I couldn’t be picked up at my Riad, I was told cars couldn’t access it — which was untrue, as I had no problem arriving by taxi from the airport.
When I reached the meeting point, there was only a driver — no English-speaking guide as advertised. The driver didn’t speak English, and no water or breakfast was provided, despite it being part of the package. We drove 90 minutes to the Atlas Mountains, where we finally met a local guide. He was kind and informative, and the two-hour hike in the mountains was genuinely enjoyable.
After the hike, we were brought to a restaurant for lunch. The guide left for Friday prayers, and we were left sitting for over an hour with zero service, twice asking for drinks. Meanwhile, a larger group arrived and was served tea and water within 15 minutes. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes before we received water, and shortly after, our meal was served. The food itself was good.
After spending over two hours at the restaurant, we returned to the car, only to find the driver was still eating. We waited another 20 minutes before we could begin the drive back to Marrakech, again only with a non-English speaking driver..
In the end, while the mountain walk and lunch were nice, the overall experience was disappointing. We paid for a private tour with an English-speaking guide, but only had about 90 minutes with a guide and spent most of the day with a non-English-speaking driver. Several promised inclusions were missing, and there was poor communication and organization throughout.
I expected more from a private tour, especially given the price.

A rich experience with a knowledgeable guide. Hassan was mindful of individual needs of group members and careful to ensure safety while hiking on sometimes narrow mountain paths.

We had a great time on our tour to the Atlas Mountains with Mustapha. He was so passionate about the history and culture of the area. The whole day was really enjoyable and the walk around the Saturday market was a real bonus. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Picked up 5 min before time, great drive and guide, lovely trip.
Lunch was great, with panorama view.
Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 star, do to stop at "womens corp argan olie" - in my oppion waste of time, and what I would call a turist-trap.
Hope that tour company will skip this stop in the future, and save all turist 1 hour on the trip, that could be spend in nature instead.

A most wonderful trip to include in your visit to Morocco. Fantastic value for money. Great driver and tour guide who were very knowledgable and interesting. Incredible experience, I strongly recommend. Take sturdy shoes for the hike.

This is a nice, inexpensive tour that will take you into the High Atlas mountains. Moustapha, our guide, actually grew up in the Berber village of Imlil (where we visited the waterfall), and it was obvious that he is proud of his heritage. The weather didn't cooperate too well, which was a bit of a bummer, but we don't have any control over that, right? We were picked up at our Airbnb in the northern part of Marrakech, with good communication beforehand.
Our driver was Mohammad; safe and courteous. Both spoke good English, and the tour had only 10 participants, all decent people and no loudmouths. Overall, we'd recommend this tour operator highly.

Was really good , hike was very steep our guide Mustapha was really nice and made sure everyone felt safe
Tre_H, May 2024
Wonderful tour, our driver and guide was lovely. And Muhammad our mountain guide was very good.
The meal was wonderful, in a beautiful roof top location in a Riad.
There was a surprise camel ride, this wasn't the most comfortable seating on the camel compared to our other camel ride. It was beautiful though and the young man leading the camels kindly took pictures for us.

Good trip if you want slightly shorter than the full day. You leave around 9am and return around 3pm - which was enough for me. One and a half hours drive to get to destination point in the mountains, with stop offs on the way of the womens argan oil cooperative, and the berber village. At your destination in the mountains a guide takes you on a walk up to the water fall (which I thought was the best part of the trip). Then on to lunch and the return journey back. Hassan our driver, and the trek guide were good. Well organised and good communication. Recommended trip.

We had a good day but not quite as expected.
We stopped at an argon oil shop and were shown how it was made. We also had a camel ride. Both were not on the itinerary but hey ho.
We were expecting a bit more walking but saw some great views of the Atlas Mountains. We probably should have booked a trek not a tour so our fault.
The Berber lunch was incredible, lovely location and amazing food. My friend who recommended the trip stopped somewhere different so guess it’s dependent on where it is available. We packed lots of experiences in and returned to Medina at 5pm.

Outstanding experience, our driver was very jovial & cheerful. We had a wonderful scenic route & trek up to waterfalls, then delicious Berberian lunch. Excellent service

We went on tour with Abderahim Didi and driver from Dial Al-Shifour and had a great day. Abderahim was very knowledgeable about the area and made the day enjoyable and fun. Also the food that was made on on the day was lovely. I'd definitely recommend this trip for the scenery also

It was a great tour of the Atlas mountains. Our tour guide Houssain was from the area so he really had lots of interesting information and answered all our questions. He also kept us on the tour schedule, and that is good because you don't want to spend the day waiting on each other.
The waterfalls were beautiful, the views were amazing, and the lunch was delicious. Recommended if you want to escape chaotic Marrakech for a day.
Chris_B, Dec 2023
Abderahim and Hussein were fantastic! Every easy to meet them both in the morning very up beat and made me feel at ease. The other guide (forgot his name) was great and very informative, lunch was fantastic having tea, vegetarian tagine fresh fruit prepared by a family in the mountains. Overall highly recommended

Wow! What a fantastic day.
Mohammed and Hassan really looked after us well.
Hassan took us on a trek through the mountains at our own pace (our 50 year old knees needed to take it slow). He was a very good guide and spoke excellent English. He took us to a locals house for lunch, which was very good. The host was very welcoming and friendly.
We all had a great time and would highly recommend Hassan and Mohamed.

Wonderful scenery- lovely stops on the way up.We were a group of 4 - all past the first flush of youth - so for us some parts of the hike were a big challenging.
Specific mention must be made of our tour guide Anasf Aitbraim. He was simply outstanding- he was kind and patient- nothing was too much for him - he encouraged us and never made us feel that we couldn’t “make it “.
Thoroughly enjoyable day - highly recommend this tour - especially with Anasf - highlight of our stay in Marrakesh .
Very informative of the history and culture of the region.

Both our driver, Mohammed, and our guide,Hamid, were excellent. We really enjoyed our day thank you 😊

Nice trip to the Atlas Mountains. Breathtakingly beautiful. Difficult walk, at least for people with difficulty or difficulty walking. Delicious berberlunch in a place with a beautiful view. Hiking boots actually necessity (or with sturdy profile). A wonderful day in the mountains with our top guide Ibrahim. Pay attention! Lunch for a fee but definitely worth it.
