When I booked this excursion it stated in the description it would be with 1 other couple (so max 4 people) which is why I booked this particular one, to avoid crowds. However, we ended up in a balloon with a total of 16 people, and unfortuately we were not in the section of the balloon facing the most interesting scenery (the areas of the balloon are sectioned off so you can't leave you section). God forbid if someone actually planned to propose on this crowded balloon as was suggested in the description. Additionally this experience mentioned ballooning at "dawn" and seeing the sunrise but we were picked up around sunrise (6:30) and did not take off until about 2 hours after sunrise so missed this completely. Other balloons were already well in the air when we arrived on site to wait around for an hour before going up so I'm not sure how others arranged for the earlier sunrise balloon time. The flight also only lasted 30 minutes instead of 1 hour. Transfer time was about 1 hour on either side of the excursion (with various pickups/dropoffs), with the rest of the time waiting around and "breakfast" which was mostly pastries/breads (no jams) and tea. Total time was closer to 5 hours with all the transit/waiting. The only saving grace was that we had a lovely balloon pilot. Overall really disappointed with the experience.

Hot air balloon experience was 5/5. Everything else was not. While the coffee and breakfast are nice it is just holding areas where you wait there for everyone. The ride was an hour and the commute is an hour and a half round trip. We were on this excursion for 6 hours. You wait around for them to herd people and then have to drive around after dropping people off at other excursions that made it frustrating. The hot air balloon guide and experience were lovely but it was ruined by the lack of efficiency and organization. Again it took 6 hours and the balloon experience is only an hour and then commute time. Wish there was an option for just the hot air balloon ride and not the breakfast and tea where you just wait around.

For guests who prefer a more exclusive and time-efficient experience, we offer private flights. With this option you have a private 4x4 transfer, a private balloon, and a private Berber breakfast. There is no waiting, no grouping with other guests, and everything is fully personalized according to your schedule. For shared flights, which are the standard option, it is normal that guests are grouped together. Ballooning is a weather-dependent activity that requires coordination between several balloons and landing areas. Waiting times can occur as we ensure safety and smooth logistics for everyone. The Berber breakfast is part of the cultural experience and gives guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy traditional hospitality while the balloons are being prepared. We always aim to offer different packages so each guest can choose the experience that best suits their expectations. A real flight time of 30 minutes.

The flight lasted only 30 minutes. We spent 1 hour on safari round trip to destination and 1 hour lunch. In fact, the real experience lasts only 30 minutes. Very disappointing for the price!!!
