Wonderful Atlas Mountains and Ourika Valley Trip with Karim and Abdul

We had a perfect trip to the Atlas Mountains and Ourika Valley on 10 March 2026 with our wonderful guide, Karim, and our careful driver, Abdul. First, we visited a tagine workshop and then a local production place for oil and other cosmetic products. After that, we had a fantastic trip into the mountains, saw a marvelous waterfall, and enjoyed the beautiful mountain views. Later, we had a very nice lunch by the riverside, which made the day even more special. We would especially like to say many thanks to our guide, Karim, who truly made the whole day unforgettable with his charismatic and humorous character. He always paid attention to our mood and asked for our feedback about all the activities, which made us feel genuinely comfortable and well looked after. Highly recommended!

Interesting tour to the Ourika valley

A good day trip out of Marrakech to the Ourika valley. Good communication with our driver beforehand, comfortable drive out, friendly driver. We stopped at an Argan oil cooperative which was really interesting and had a lovely garden. Then onto the village where we met the guide who took us up to the waterfall. We opted to go further (and pay) taking the longer route back. Then lunch at a restaurant which was extra but reasonably priced. We then headed back. In total about 6.5 hours which was enough to learn a little about the Berber culture. Good value and interesting tour.

Stunning Atlas Mountains & Monkeys!

We had an absolutely wonderful day! Abdou was our driver and guide—so friendly and welcoming—and he made sure we stopped at some fantastic photo spots along the way. For our hike up to the Ourika Falls, we had another excellent guide (whose name, unfortunately, I can’t recall), and the experience was just as enjoyable. Visiting the argan oil cooperative and the Berber house tour was both fascinating and insightful, while the journey into the Atlas Mountains offered truly breathtaking scenery. As an animal lover, spotting Barbary macaques along the way was an extra special highlight for me. A huge thank you to everyone for making this day so memorable!

Mohasin our driver was very punctual, he drove us safely to the location, really friendly and a good drive to an amazing place. We stopped for a panoramic view and then to the argon cooperative where we had a good insight on how it works. When we reached ourika valley our guide Mustafa welcomed us and took us around. He was really friendly and made sure everyone was safe. The tour was really nice and the view and places breathtaking. Wear non slippery and comfortable shoes as it is a hike to the waterfall. Some points are very steep so you have to be very careful. Overall an amazing experience!

Une superbe excursion avec des gens dorlidables . Merci à Ayoub notre chauffeur auprès de qui on a passé un très bon moment , toujours souriant et attentionné. Merci à Moustapha notre guide jusqu'au cascade , lui aussi est très attentionné et souriant . Un très bon moment à ces côtés ! Toujours la pour aider dans les passages difficiles .
