OMG. This trip was the highlight of the trip for our family. If you are a physically active family craving an adrenalin rush while getting a locals perspective of Marrakech then here it is. My family loved dodging cars, motor bikes, people and horses around town. The guide also has lots of biking experience and can organize tailored outings to fit your needs...say mountain biking in the Atlas or outside of Marrakech.

We had an interesting experience. Our guide did not tell us much about food and we never made it to the spice market. I forgot to ask about it at the time and we just followed our guide trustingly. Cycling through the Medina was hectic but fun. We ended up at a school where they feed homeless people breakfast in the evening during Ramadan which was bizzare. Tasty soup though.

This was our favorite experience in our time in Morocco. Definitely need to feel comfortable about riding a bike, but it's much easier than it may seem when pressed into the tight confines of the medina. We were able to see and taste so much in a short amount of time and get great recommendations, wish we had booked it for our first day in town!

GREAT tour w/local guide Simor L. Saw and ate wonderful food that only a local would know of. Best breakfast (it sounds weird but it was delish) chickpea porridge and lunch of chicken tangine with beans was sooooo good. Biking was level. Simor is competent and fun. Recommend this!

good bike ride but be warned - this is NOT a food tour. We were expecting to stop off at various points to sample the different local cuisines but such wasn't the case we had a meal and some orange juice and that was about it. the cycling through the bustling streets of marrakech was daunting but fun though.

You want some adventure in Marrakech? Then we advise you to do a biketour with Farouk Argansports. Marrakech will never be the same for you! You will discover how the Black King died in his pool. Or why each house in the red city has two entrances to escape?
We loved his humour and his knowledge about the Marrocan people.
Don't be afraid, the biketour is safe.
And you will enjoy the lunch as we did. Fish and chicken and tajine... It was to much!
After the tour he drove us back to the center with his car. What a nice day!

Had a very cool afternoon with Mohammed L. he is a very cool guide whom really let you experience Marakkesh in a different way. We have been in places and eaten food which we normally would never had done if it was not for him.

This tour was great! Our guide Mohammed L was so full of energy even though he had been fasting all day.

Try not to do this during Ramadan. That's a sun up to sundown fast. Limits food choices. I give it 3 and a half stars. Better than walking tour. Could have done more historical sites, fewer merchants. But then all the tour guides take you into the spice shops and rug dealers, et al. Best was the grilled sardines. Deboned by hand. A kick sandwiching through the Medina.

This is highly recommended. Our guide Mohammed G was fantastic - very friendly and very knowledgeable about Marrakech. As well as amazing food you will learn of the history of the city. This is a great way to see and learn about Marrakech and was the highlight of our stay.

Great way to see and experience the city up close and personal: Mohammad L was a great host and really took his time to navigate us through the streets and traffic and explain all the sights and history. Highly recommended and be sure to bring some shorts...I booked the trip as a surprise for my husband and he was wearing fitted pants...Mohammad went as far as providing shorts and sun screen to ensure the most comfortable ride Best way to see the city and do Marrakech.

Muhammed L was the perfect guide. We tasted some wonderful local food in perfect Marrakech old city. Followed by an exciting cycle ride through the side streets and in between the riads of the old city.
Highly recommend

My sister and I did this tour on our first day in Marrakesh. It's a great way of orientating yourself with the city and taking away any fears you might have of the traffic and crossing the roads. We had 3 food stops: a breakfast of lentils and chickpeas with bread in a street cafe with not a tourist in sight, early lunch overlooking Jemma el-fnaa for a tagina the spelling might not be correct different from a tagine. A tagina is cooked in an urn-shaped vessel, then a traditional tagine in a local cafe at the end of the tour. We took in and stopped at a number of sights including at a traditional pharmacy. This was my third visit to Marrekesh and the best part of the visit this time around.

We chose the 4 hour food/city tour.
AMAZING!!!!!
Well worth doing this tour, fab food, great knowledge from guide Seymour G and we saw things that we would never have done cycling solo.
Great value, fantastic experience.
We chose the 2-6pm tour as it would be cooler in the 34 degrees.

This tour was brilliant. The guides were great company and so interesting. It is a brilliant way to see Marrakech. We got to taste some traditional breakfast dishes, stopped at a spice shop where we were given loads of info about the medicinal qualities of the oils and spices and then stopped at the market where we chose our lunch from the fish stall and it was then prepared and cooked fresh and presented to us with a delicious tomato salad and some bread. We had time to sit and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the market while we ate our lunch. The cycling was interesting. Its very slow which is a good thing as the traffic is erratic to say the least. But we were well looked after. I would add, make sure you arrive hungry!

The tour was fantastic. The tour starts at the bike shop outside of the Medina where we met our guide Mohamed who suited us up with bikes and helmets. They made us feel very comfortable and started the tour slow to get us used to the roads and side streets. The tour was amazing as Mohamed took us to lots of little side streets and side markets to get to the main square. We visited juice stalls and spice shops where we were given samples, tea and drinks. Mohamed told us all about the people and the square before we moved on. Mohamed took us to a few more spots in the old city, stopping at olive stalls and telling us about how the people there live and eat.
Our first meal stop was at a tajine stall where traditional tajines were being cooked. We had a tajine each with breads and tea. These were amazing and mohamed told us about how the real tajines are cooked all day long and people come to the stalls when they are finished cooking and grab and go. The ones made to order in the restaurants are rushed and not as good. Honestly the best tajines we had all trip. After this we visited a leathery where they make leather us the old traditional methods.
Finally we made our way to Mohamed's favourite spot where we had slow cooked beans and chicken. Very delicious. After this we had leisurely rides around the Medina through more side streets and markets. There were lots of opportunities to stop and buy something if you spot something you like. This was our favourite tour all trip. Highly recommend to bring a backpack to buy what you like as you go.
Thanks Mohamed

What a wonderful experience! Even a non bicycle rider like myself had a great time. Our guide, Mohammed, was very informative, friendly and had a fantastic sense of humour! We ate so much along the way that we didn't even need supper. It was great to sit amongst the locals, eating very tasty food and sipping on delicious mint tea.

very good with a great guide. Definitely recommend it.

Great food tasting tour and bike ride. I took my 10 year old daughter and we had a really good afternoon. Our guide was was really helpful as we are vegetarian and vegan. This wasn't a problem as we were still able to sample some of Moroccos vege friendly foods.

Waaaaaauw!
