I arranged the surf trip which was excellent. Fatima our guide was amazing, Very imformative and extremely friend. Howie the driver was also amazing picking me up on time and getting us to every place safely. Fatima also kept me up to date on the arrangements for the day. The surf school were excellent and really helped me improve my surfing, as I have surfed before but still a beginner. The lunch was beautiful and still had an hour to have a little look around the medina. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful trip.😁

Surf was awesome, but the rest… meh. Book the surf separately and find your own transport, that might be a better option

The surf experience was amazing – 100% recommend it! We had a great time in the water and really enjoyed that part. But the trip itself could be better organised. The drive there takes forever because they stop too many times for no real reason. It would be smarter to split the group – people going to surf and people just visiting the city – so we don’t waste time. Also, the lunch was supposed to be a 3-course meal (starter, main, dessert), but we only got chicken tajine, water, and bread. I asked about the “three course” part but didn’t get any answer. So my tip: book the surf separately and find your own transport – that might be a better option.

Good day but not matching website description

The excursion was a good day and the guides were very good. I enjoyed it and would recommend But it’s important to know the the description on the website was different from the actual event. The estimated time on the website significantly underestimated the travel time and the actual trip was 4 hours longer than the 8 hour estimate. Also the lunch was good but it was not the 3 course meal stated. But overall a fun day at an interesting place.

A magical day

This was a marvelous, wonderful day. The pick up was really easy: we communicated through WhatsApp. The village is charming; the beach lovely. The surfing was terrific, with amazing, friendly teachers. Remember to mention that you purchased the surfing package, since not everyone in the trip will be surfing. Overall, this was a magical day.

Regarding the tour: Hassna is a very kind and smiling guide. She explained some facts about Morocco in an understandable way. Highly recommended! Along with the Mr. Driver, they are a great duo. They are very organized and punctual. Regarding the Surf Class: Youssef is a great instructor, he is very passionate about surfing and his job. I would definitely recommend taking surfing classes from him and from the surfing club.

Favourite Day of the Trip

Excellent day at the coast of Morocco. Although the 3 hour journey there may seem long, it is broken up with 2 breaks. One for breakfast and one to see Argon oil manufacturing. Once we arrived, the rest of the tour were drop off to go and do what they pleased and we were then taken to the surfing company. They were very welcoming, got us kitted up and took our lunch orders (included in price) and then we were off surfing with an instructor (very nice and helpful) for over 2 hours. Waves were great and we had a lot of fun. After kitting down, we had lunch and then were left with a couple hours to go and explore as we pleased. We took in the sites, wondered through the shopping streets and pick up some grilled fresh sea bass. The day at the coast ended at 17:00 and with another break during the drive back, we arrived back in Marrakesh a little before 20:30. All in all this was my favourite day of the trip!

Good experience, but long travel time

I enjoyed this trip. All the different people who were involved in running it provided a great service: the transport, the surfing lesson, the food etc. All very good. The reason I wouldn't recommend it is simply the amount of time travelling Vs the amount of time surfing. It's basically 4 to 5 hours travel each way, then a few hours surfing (good surfing to be fair though). But that's not the fault of the people running the service, it just is what it is. I think a better option personally would be to travel the night before, surf in the day then return in the afternoon evening. Makes it more worth while. If you only have one day though, this is great value and is enjoyable.

Moha was an excellent facilitator, gave great information. Despite the van breaking down which he was very apologetic and upset about he ensured we were well updated and got us all home in good time and safely. Surfing was fantastic, the instructor Anass was very personable and an excellent instructor and now an honorary geordie. Excellent day 👏

One of our best family trip. The combination of learning to surf and visiting a beautiful place was excelent. Our guides were amazing, especially Anas in the surf school. Patient, educational and very friendly. Thanks again to everyone.

Couldn’t fault our surf instructor Yunas. It was only myself and my partner so it was a private lesson. The waves were perfect from beginners and we had a full two hours which is great value for money compared to the U.K. However, we were part of another tour and did not get a full day in Essouria as expected, by the time our surf lesson was over we only had 30 minutes until we got back on the bus, if you want to see Essouria as well as surf I would book two separate trips. We were taken to see traditional production of argon oil with the opportunity to buy some products (however it you have already done the Ouzourd waterfall trips - it’s the same thing) Lunch was included but was not three courses as advertised, it was tagine and bread. Despite these things the surfing lesson itself was amazing and I would recommend to any beginner.

I give 2 star only because the tour guide and the surf school were really nice and helped me to realise the tour I booked. I booked the tour essauira visit and surf, the pick up was late, then when I join the tour I realised that I was the only one with the surf option, not an issue in theory, but mixed with a normal tour I reached essaouira at 1 pm instead 11 as declared in the description, loosing 2 hours of potential visit in essaouira. Then when I reached the surf school the lesson was not booked by the agency so other time lost before starting, the school was really kind to let me do the lesson even if was not booked, but I was lucky just because they didn’t have any other booking at that time. Of course the lunch was not booked as well for me so the 3 course meal didn’t happen, again the surf school arranged a Tajine for me but was not what was declare. In the tour description. Result of everything I had just 1 h to visit the city and was not enough. I really appreciate the help of the surf school and the tour guide that were not aware of me and my tour but the organisation of the agency was really poor and not worth the money. Not recommended

The surf course is great, my children 11 and 14 have a new passion;) Our instructor was Redouane, thank you very much Redouane! The staff at the surf school is great too, super good vibe and are trusted to keep personal belongings safe. There is not much time left to visit if you go surfing .. but the outing is definitely worth it! Our driver was super cool too. Thank you all

Surf increíble. La escuela de surf y los instructores super recomendable. Los neoprenos son buenos y eso nos hizo disfrutar cómodamente con frío y lluvia. Además son rápidos, saben que vamos mal de tiempo para llegar a todo. SI nos dieron la comida incluida Lo malo es que el traslado se hace con gente que no tiene contratado el surf y el tour ida/vuelta está montado para ellos. Se para 20 minutos en una cooperativa de argán y llegamos a las 12am. La vuelta es a las 4 por lo que no hay mucho tiempo para explorar la ciudad. Como todos estábamos de acuerdo, el guía nos facilito volver media hora más tarde. Surf 12-14. Comimos hasta las 14.30. De 2.30-4.30 fue tiempo suficiente para ver la ciudad Por favor pedimos que pongan en la descripción los horarios y la parada en la Cooperativa de argán.
