We had a fabulous tour around back streets of medina. Our guide Oumamie was bright, charming and informative. There were two other people with us. Perfect number. We had a drink stop the Clock cafe and had henna tattoos ! It was a wonderful way to see the city, and see parts you’d never see. Fully recommend. It was my highlight of our time. I love Marrakech, this was my fourth visit and we’re to happy we did this tour. Thank you Pikala Bikes.

Our November 2025 bike ride through the bustling streets of Marrakech was an unforgettable experience, blending the city’s vibrant energy with a reassuring sense of safety. Despite the constant flow of cars, motorbikes, and pedestrians, the two guides—one leading at the front and the other watching from the back—ensured we were always secure and well looked after. Their attentiveness and knowledge added depth to the journey, taking us beyond the main routes to discover off-the-beaten-path corners of the city. A highlight was the stop at a traditional coffee shop, where we enjoyed drinks, local biscuits, and a great rooftop view.

Eco friendly sightseeing

It was a great way to see a different side of the city. Our guide Raba (spelling may be wrong sorry) was amazing. Very knowledgable and friendly. Visiting some traditional local workshops really gave an insight into the history behind the industries that still tin this day are completed by hand. I love the fact that the company supports the local community and their ambition to make Marrakesh an environmentally friendly tourist spot. The only drawback for the tour was as some stops there were other tourists groups making small workshops very cramped. If you are not comfortable on a bike or cycling round a busy city stay close to the guide.

Disappointing biking tour Marrakech

We joined a bike tour in Marrakech, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. We only stopped about four or five times for very short explanations from the guide — for example, at a bakery or a mosaic shop — but there was little to no information about the history of Marrakech or how people live there. Most of the time we were just cycling around without much context, which was a bit disappointing. We had hoped for a more informative and engaging tour.

Biking your way through Marrakesh is an experience you do not want to miss !

This was an excellent way to see the medina. Our guide Hamit was brilliant- knowledgeable and friendly and prepared to give us lots of time and space to look and to question. The trip lasted nearly 3 hours taking in the medina, kings palace gardens and some of the new city. I completely recommend

Wonderful bike tour

We had the best afternoon in Marrakech with our 2 guides and the other people in the group. Our guide Kaula gave us a lot of interesting information with stories from her childhood. The bike tour in the old and new city was sometimes challenging, but wonderful to do!

Not for the faint hearted

Staff are lovely and very helpful. Bikes are not that good! Recommend that you only do this if you are very competent cyclist and very able to cope with a bike that might not quite suit you. Definitely not for the faint hearted! It’s chaos on the streets and you need to be able to cope with potholes, cyclists, motorists, motorbikes, dogs, pedestrians and any manner of moving things all getting in your way on very narrow streets!

This was the best part of our holiday. It’s a true experience cycling around Marrakesh and not for the faint hearted but it was just excellent and as a couple we loved it. Hamid was our tour guide and he had help from another brilliant tour guide. We really got out into the community and understood facts about how people live. The ethos behind pikala bikes was also super and a brilliant purpose ❤️

This bike tour was the one of the highlights of our Morocco trip. Zouhair, our guide, was exceptional—fluent in English, knowledgeable about Marrakesh, and an adept cyclist. We appreciated his quick thinking when he split our group to accommodate a family with language barriers and a child who struggled on the bike. The tour covered all the advertised spots, with a well-deserved tea break at a charming café afterward. Unlike other tours we had booked on our trip, there were no pressured sales stops -- just pure exploration. Highly recommended!

Cycling Marakech Experience

A brilliant few hours cycling around Marrakech. We had already walked around the Medina and stopped at several sights but this tour covered areas we had not been to. The young leader handled our group very efficiently and made cycling through the maze of obstacles quite enjoyable and a unique experience. The cookies and iced tea at a secluded cafe was the icing on the cake.

Cycling through the small streets of Marrakech feels like being part of a movie. The guide was very good and the modern bikes were easy to ride. Best way to see a lot in a few hours en really feel like being a part of the hectic city center. 😀

This was one of my favorite experiences in Marrakesh. It was a bit crazy riding through the old city but amazing at the same time. The contrast with the new city is unbelievable. Loved the new city part because it was easy and beautiful. Highly recommend.

It was really fun. I am not a professional biker so I would not recommend it in summer when it is much busier, but I totally do it again in off season. Khawla, our guide, is a beautiful soul, she knows so many things, has a warm personality. I was really happy having her as my guide. She gave us a lot of information. A fun way to discover the city and learn about the local culture. We stopped at several historical sites and local trade shops. The guides explained how the trade works. There was absolutely no attempt at selling us anything (which is welcome!).

We had such a fantastic time riding bikes through the busy streets of the Medina and the souks! It was exhilarating sharing the streets with cars, bikes, motor bikes, people, horse carriages and donkey carts! Our guide was fantastic and so informative, definitely a highlight of our time in Marrakesh!
