Trip was excellent from start to finish.All aspects were even better than expected. We usually arrange our own excursions , but we could not have done this one on our own There was quite a bit of trekking , including river crossings on narrow bridges and by stepping stones , but it was all fine (even though we are both pensioners ).Food was great , and there were lots of stops for photo opportunities and tea. Special mention for our guide Ali. He was absolutely superb - made everyone so welcome.

Atlas Mountain Tour via Viator I have used Viator tours in the past and they have kept up their high standards yet again. The Atlas Mountain tour was the highlight of our trip to Marrakech. The beautiful scenic views of the valley with multi colour foliage and traditional Berber houses were a treat to the eyes. Though we underestimated the hiking our fantastic guide Hassan very well supported us. He was knowledgeable with the area, history and also made sure every one in our group of 10 were comfortable and happy with our activities. When some had difficulty with hiking Hassan’s little brother & his friend came to their rescue assisting them with their Mules for rides. These youngsters were caring and experts in managing the Mules. The lunch served during the trip was superb. Hassan’s family at his residence gave Moroccan tea & Almonds as special treat for us. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Thank you Hassan & Viator.

Many thanks for Abdul and Ibrahim. They were courteous and wonderful. Took time to bond with us. The visits to the mountain was spectacular and the camel ride was impressive. I was initially worried about the kids as they were under 10 but to my surprise they enjoyed every bit of it. Abdul and Ibrahim worked with our pace and were always checking to see if we are OK. I cant thank you ENOUGH! Thanks for making this so memorable.

Excellent trip to the Atlas mountain. Driver and our guide Ibrahim were very nice and helpful. We spent very nice day in Marroco, views and lunch were amazing, only 6 people in the group, pick up in hotel was without problem, definitely recommend this trip.

I would really recommend this day trip. Such a great insight into the berber lifestyle. Abdul, our driver was excellent and was with us until we met our guide in the mountains and returned us safely to Marrakech. Our guide, Mustafa was brilliant, helpful, welcoming, so happy and totally made our day. The camel ride was perfect length and well worth it for the experience. Both tea and lunch at a berber house were excellent - we sat on a balcony overlooking the valley below and snow capped mountains above. Perfect.

We really enjoyed everything about the tour and the mix of various activities. The only recommendation is for Viator to add a dedicated textbox at booking time to enter the hotel and not as a side note. We got an email from the agency a say before the tour and arranged it though, but I was wondering about it.

This was by far one of the top highlights of our trip to Marrakech and largely down to our brilliant tour guide Ibrahim! He was super friendly, kind, helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable - we could not praise him highly enough and really made our day fantastic! This was a great day out and very good value for money. We got picked up from our hotel at 9am and, after collecting another tourist couple, then drove up into the Atlas mountains in a lovely 7-seater car, stopping off along the way at a Argon oil co-operative for Moroccan breakfast/tea and multiple sites for photos. Once we arrived at the Berber village the majority of the trip was a great hike through the Atlas mountain valleys where we were taken to our tour guides home for more tea then on to see waterfalls and trek through the mountains. After which we went to a Berber homestay for a typical Moroccan home cooked lunch which was delicious and plentiful! On our way back we stopped off for a 20 minute camel ride before driving back to our hotel. There was no pressure at the end to tip the tour guide but I would definitely recommend doing so as it's well deserved and I wish we had more money on us to give.

This was one of the best, most memorable trips we did in Marrakesh(we are family of 4, children aged 9 and 14yrs). It’s well organised, the pick up was on time, mini bus was comfortable, driver was a very safe driver and the whole trip was planned out well. Our guide Rachid was excellent. He was polite, communicated well, didn’t hurry us up during the long walk and checked on each one us appropriately. Visiting Berber family at the village was a wonderful experience, they were so warm and welcoming. The hike/ walk itself through the valleys was tiring but very refreshing in the midst of nature. After the long walk lunch at the guest house was absolutely delicious. They catered to our vegetarian diet and the guest house was clean and well maintained. In the end the camel ride was well enjoyed by all of us ,especially kids. Overall a very good day trip, we would highly recommend it for fellow travellers.

we got picked up by Rachid just after 9am and got back to the hotel at 6.30/7 pm Rachid took us to 3 valleys at Atlas mountain, we saw how they make argan oil , we had 20 min camel ride by a little river ( all dressed up) ,we had a massive walk round the third village( so please wear comfortable shoes) and finished off the day by a delicious lunch at a Berber village house. It was my husbands 50th the day before so Rachid organised a lovely surprise by asking the cook to make him a birthday cake and he also got my husband a little Bracelet as a gift. Over all I can t thank Rachid enough for the memorable day that he created. Also I would like to thank the driver ( appologies as I can’t remember his name) for driving extra careful the whole day. 100% recommend the trip and the boys who made it enjoyable

We stayed in central Medina, so our pick up point was the main market in Marrakesh - El fna. We went to Atlas in comfortable Mercedes with 2 other couples. We stopped only in argaon oil factory, where we had a small breakfast (bread with argan oil food and mint tea). Then we went to a closest camel ride (in nice nature) - i really enjoeyed that and then we went directly to Atlas village, where we met our very good guide Hassan. With him we walked around 15 minutes to berber house, where we had a really good lunch (local soup, tajini with meat, fruits and tea). Then we continued by walking to the nice water fall and back - it last around 1,5 hour (or more if your group want) walking throught the forrest.Then we went back to Marrakesh by car. Overall it was really nice trip and I recommend to see the berber village and life there. People were very nice there.

After searching through many different sites to find a tour of the Atlas Mountains we chose this one and had a wonderful time. Being picked up and dropped off at our Riad in the morning was very convenient and easy. Our guide, Ibrahim, was awesome and we really enjoyed having him show us around. It was a unique experience getting to tour three different villages. We stopped and had tea in a house at our first village. After that we hiked up to see a waterfall, I was not expecting this and it was a lovely experience. I especially loved the lunch spot in the last village. The views were absolutely stunning and the food was good and authentic. This was my first time doing a booked day tour and it was a really nice experience. Also, we did book last minute the night before. Since they pick you up from your Riad we did not have time to communicate early enough, but we called right away in the morning. They were super accommodating and it was still on schedule. Overall we really liked this tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit the Atlas Mountains and enjoy an experience with such ease. We also visited mid March and the weather was perfect for a hike in the mountains as it was warm in the sun and not too hot since you are moving around most of the day.

Excellent day with Brahim, who was more of a good friend than a tour guide showing us around his home village and more. Very well organised with plenty of picture opportunities and Brahim was always willing to help and get involved! Many great memories, 10/10, hope to come again in future!

We had a wonderful day outing from Marrakech to the Atlas mountains, escaping the loud and busy city for a peaceful adventure. The hike/walk and lunch in the Berber village were highlights. Our guide, Rachid, was great; he has a good balance of friendliness and respect, and we appreciated his sense of humor. He routinely checked in with everyone in the group during the hike, and ensured everyone's comfort. Our driver, Mustapha was also good fun and we felt safe the whole time in the vehicle. Overall, a lovely day!

This is one of the best excursions i have been on Mohammed (driver) was excellent. We were picked up promptly from hotel and had an informative pleasant journey to the mountains. We were then left in the hand of Mohammed (guide) who looked after us so well and taught us so much about the area and was fantastic company. Lunch was great in the berber village. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough.

Had a great time on this tour. We were picked up directly from our hotel by our guide. Our guide, Rashid was very personable, very funny. He made us all feel very welcomed. He was also quite informative, and allowed us to ask questions or stop a bit longer for pic opportunities. Would highly recommend this tour!

Where do I start, from start to finish this tour was amazing. We were collected from our hotel by our driver, drove into Marrakech to collect another couple where we also met our fabulous tour guide Ibrahim. The drive to the Atlas Mountains is about 90 mins but there were plenty of stops on the way. Our first stop - mint tea and the camel ride, this was a lot of fun - we were dressed up and Ibrahim took lots of photos. Next stop was a visit to a local market, was a real insight and Ibrahim guided us throughout. Our next stop was to a place which made argon oil, we were shown how it was produced and the products they had made as a result - then we were given breakfast and some more mint tea. We were then driven to the Atlas Mountains - spectacular scenery. On arrival Ibrahim got the four of us some bottled water and we went on our hike. This was amazing, we trekked up and down all around the local Berber villages, this was a real insight into how they live. Ibrahim was so helpful, he allowed us the time to enjoy the trek - making sure that we were ok at regular intervals and giving both information and guidance where we needed it. Once we’d ventured through the villages Ibrahim took us to the most beautiful waterfalls - the scenery was amazing. We concluded this amazing day with lunch at a Berber guesthouse, which was delicious and a drive back ( upon which I slept most of the way ) to be delivered right to our hotels from door. I would highly recommend this trip, the driver was really efficient and Ibrahim amazing. Thank you Ibrahim for all your help, we will take home lots of happy memories.

Our tour was sooooo much fun! We did the “Atlas Mountains Day Tour from Marrakech, Including Camel Ride and Berber Guest House”. ABRAHAM (our Berber guide) was awesome. He was polite, accommodating and he knows “every step/stone” while trekking up the mountain! There were 4 of us, two younger girls (26&30) and US (53&44) he was very conscious and accommodating in bridging the gap between us going at a slower pace and them moving very fast. He challenged us on the trek and we responded very well! We made it! The lunch at the Berber guesthouse was excellent, traditional chicken tangeen in 4 courses, the Camel ride was so much fun and Abraham did not hesitate when we kept asking him to take pictures! ABRAHAM IS A GREAT BERBER GUIDE!

We had an enjoyable day on the Atlas Mountains Tour with Rachid. The camel ride was a great start to the day and it was ended with some delicious traditional food in a Berber house. It was lovely to enjoy some fresh orange juice at the waterfall. I would highly recommend this Tour to others visiting Marrakech. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Magical tour of the Imlil village in the Atlas Mountains! Hassan Lasri and Abde absolutely made all the difference! They made us feel so welcome and comfortable in a place that's so different from what we're used to. I won't give you all of the details, but this is a must do!!
