Wonderful experience & great teacher

We loved the calligraphy class! A great opportunity to learn a little of this art and the Arabic abjad. The teacher was enthusiastic, encouraging and patient. Nice central location at the Marrakesh museum.

I had a wonderful, educational class where I learned some of the history of Arabic and calligraphy. I also learned the letters and their sounds. The instructor was not only knowledgeable but kind and helpful, as well as very skilled!

The worship was excellent! The Arabic calligraphy artist is very very good at teaching the writing technique. I highly recommend this workshop if you want to learn writing using the bamboo Qalam pen.

This was a great experience. Got to learn a lot about the history and different styles of Arabic calligraphy, and even practiced some of them. Hussein and Essaid were both very friendly, hospitable, and knowledgeable. They were both also fluent in English in addition to french and Arabic. Ended up spending two hours instead of just the allotted one hour. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Marrakesh and hoping to learn about Arabic calligraphy.

Estuve hace poco en Marrakech con mi pareja y decidimos probar esta actividad; acertamos de pleno. La actividad se imparte en un acogedor y agradable taller, con té de menta y pastelitos. Lo más importante de la actividad es que Said, el hombre que da el taller, es maravilloso, se nota que es alguien que siente pasión por lo que hace y la enseñanza; se explica perfectamente y hace que el árabe resulte muy interesante e incluso sencillo. Me quedé gratamente sorprendida puesto que superó mis expectativas, aprendí mucho más sobre la caligrafía árabe de lo que creía que se puede aprender en 2 horas y además me divertí y pasé un rato muy agradable, cercano e interesante. Esta es sin duda, una de las mejores experiencias que viví en Marrakech.
