Jans was so much fun! He brought the vibes all day and we got to see three great beaches. Pickup was near/at each hotel, and it was much easier to see beaches without worrying about parking. We could have only seen maybe 1 beach without this tour. We had a dinner reservation to get back for and Jans made sure we were able to. Great last day in Mallorca!

This tour took us to breathtaking spots in Mallorca. We stayed at a beach resort but saw so many more private beach locations on this amazing tour. Our van had very good air conditioning. Peter was a very nice positive guide. He set us up with shaded spots on the beach and blankets to lay on. He also guided some optional walks in limestone caves and fantastic cliff jumping! We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mallorca.

We were picked up near our port from cruise ship. He was very patient and communicative to be able to locate us. It’s a bit crazy coming of ship in a foreign country not knowing anything about anything… and he wasn’t dismayed a bit. It was a lot to take in… 9 beaches in 6 hours & 8 people to manage… 1 being a child. He was patient, shared some history knowledge & took us to the prettiest beaches on a Sunday. We had a little hike in there as well. He takes into consideration your age, physical ability etc. to give a great experience. Highly recommend.

Great Tour! Nothing was rushed and enjoyed our time. The frills were in the beaches. Best way to see the beaches in Mallorca. Like we traveled with a friend that lives on the island. Value for money was very good!

We booked a private tour for 6 with The Happy Vans on our recent visit to Mallorca. After 3 days in Barcelona and then a whirlwind Mediterranean cruise with stops in France and Italy, we were ready to kick back and enjoy a relaxing day in Mallorca. The owner, Simon, met us outside the cruise terminal and then proceeded to give us the exact experience we sought. We wanted a highly personalized but exceedingly unpretentious, laid-back vibe. We wanted to view Mallorca form a local's perspective - go where the locals go and eat where the locals eat.. Simon and The Happy Vans certainly hit the mark. He had beach blankets, snorkel gear, snacks and drinks ready for whatever adventure we chose to pursue. It was like traveling around with your private surfer dude. We loved every minute and due to Simon's hospitality we will most definitely make a return trip to coninue our exploration of Mallorca.

To the team at The Happy Vans, I wanted to express how incredible our family's tour with you in Mallorca was! We booked through Viator as our Royal Caribbean cruise excursions were quite expensive, especially for our group of nine (6 adults, 2 children, and 1 toddler). The price offered by The Happy Vans was truly reasonable and a great value. Simon was incredibly helpful in answering all my questions before our excursion, which eased my nerves about the pick-up and drop-off locations. For future cruise guests, it's good to note that there's about a 20-minute walk from the port to the meeting point, which is straightforward but can feel a bit long with young children. Simon and Jan's met us, and Jan's was our fantastic tour guide for the day. Jan's, if you're reading this, thank you so much for showing us such a wonderful time in Mallorca! You were an amazing, fun, and genuine guide. We truly appreciate the experience you provided and look forward to returning for another tour in the future!

We had an amazing trip to some beautiful beaches in Palma de Mallorca, made even better by our fantastic guide, Peter. He arrived right on time and immediately made us feel welcome. We do enjoyed his playlist during the travels - it really set the mood for the day. Peter was kind, professional, and never intrusive, striking the perfect balance. We were also lucky to share the experience with a lovely small group, which made the day even more enjoyable. Everything was well organized, relaxed, and memorable. Highly recommended!

This what an incredible excursion! Me and my husband came to Mallorca on our honeymoon and we both agree this is the best experience we’ve had and we’ve traveled to Spain a few times ! Jans our tour guide was nonetheless amazing and kind. He showed us three beautiful beaches which included some cliff jumping! We had such a blast we still rave about it! Next time we visit Mallorca we will be doing this tour again it was just that much fun! And such a fun way to see the island and some of the beautiful local hidden beaches. If you are thinking about doing this book it now! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back and explore these hidden gems again’! And thank you Jans for making our honeymoon that much better!

Perfect beach day in Mallorca

Our cruise stopped in Palma for the day, and since we only had a few hours to explore, we chose this beach van tour — and we’re so glad we did! What better way to see beautiful Mallorca than by visiting some of its stunning beaches? Peter, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to four different spots, giving us plenty of time to enjoy each one. We spent about 45 minutes at two gorgeous beaches to swim and relax, and he also stopped at a nice spot for lunch where we had another 45 minutes to eat. We made it back to our ship by 4:30 with time to spare, so it was stress-free from start to finish. If you want to see more of Mallorca in just a few hours, this tour is perfect. Highly recommend!

Nothing happier than the happy van

The happy van was just that, it was SO happy. We had Jans as our guide and by the end we had a new friend. He took us to stunning beaches, pirate caves, taught us how to cliff jump, and even played the guitar for us. He took us to a yummy lunch spot as well. He was so personable, funny, and so laid back. We need more people in the world like him and he made this tour even more enjoyable than just the stunning views and crystal clear waters. His photo skills were also amazing! The man leapt across rocks for us like it was nothing to capture amazing shots! 10/10 recommend :)

I would rate this as a must do experience! Simon and his assistant were extremely accommodating. They wanted to make sure we had the best experience and they delivered in spectacular fashion. We visited 3 beaches, snorkeled and stopped for lunch in between. We also went to a couple of picturesque sites to snap some great pics. They even let us play in the water longer than expected and still got us back to our boat with time to spare. You could tell they both enjoyed watching everyone having a good time. A mass of people had issues getting a cab that morning and we decided to take a shuttle to get out of the port instead of waiting. Simon was able to get us and really saved our day. We were so grateful. Two stand up guys that love what they do. Highest recommendation. You will absolutely not regret doing Happy Vans. 5/5 stars!

Wonderful beach tour

Peter was an amazing tour guide. He picked us up on time from our hotel. He took up to many beautiful spots. We were able to swim, jump into the water off a cliff, and affordable lunch in town (quick for more beach), caves, snorkeling and much more. The tour included towels, umbrellas, pool noodles and a bag for drinks (not provided). He watched our things so we didn’t have to worry about our valuables. It was an enjoyable way to explore several island beaches without the stress of navigating on our own. We were delivered back safe and sound to our hotel. Can’t recommend it enough!

Bare bones and rough

This trip was in a ratty rundown van with no air conditioning. The guide was inexperienced and did not tell the members they could avoid walking to the beach on a rocky difficult to navigate dirt path that he left us to our own to navigate while he parked the van. The guide had cheap broken umbrellas which could not offer shade to everyone who wanted it in the blazing heat. I saw that they do have another nice new van we didn’t get. They should offer two prices one for a well equipped tour and one for really roughing it.

We are a family of 5 with kids ages 18, 16 and 13 and we all loved this experience! We were at port in Mallorca on a cruise and wanted to see the less “touristy” beaches and boy did we!!! Rich picked us up right near the port and we visited 4 beaches and swam in 3 of them! He helped us all jump safely off of some cliffs and enjoy an incredible day! He was also very good about timing and making sure we got back to the port in plenty of time! Would recommend 100%!!!!

Rich was a fabulous tour guide. The beaches were beautiful, and each one was unique. We went snorkeling, cliff diving, walked through caves, and had delicious baguette sandwiches that Rich recommended. He was so much fun and felt like part of the family by the end of the day. We were coming from a cruise and were so glad we did this excursion in Mallorca rather than see the traditional tourist spots.

This was my favorite experience in Mallorca! Rich and Yance are really great people. Rich went above and beyond to make the experience like a group hanging out and very comfortable for me as a solo traveler. The rides in between beaches were filled with great conversation and great music! Also, they are very knowledgeable about the history of Mallorca as well as the best spots to visit. If you are looking for an intimate, personalised tour of the best beaches in Mallorca, then you need to go with Simon and Happy Vans! Loved Simon’s selection of different types of beaches; from a chilled local neighbourhood beach surrounded by gorgeous cliffs to a wide, open beach with plenty of fine sand. We had a chilled but super interesting day thanks to Simon’s relaxed, happy approach (everyone was having a wonderful time at one beach and he was happy to go ‘off schedule’ a bit to let us enjoy a little more), his enthusiasm (which resulted in us cliff jumping, which was awesome!) and willingness to share his perspective about local life in Mallorca. Coupled with great snorkelling and the most amazing tunes as we drove in Simon’s super comfortable and air conditioned van, Happy Vans is less a ‘tour’ and more like a local friend showing you around their beautiful island home (a small group of 8 in our tour also helped). Highly recommended! 🌟
