Best sunset views of Mallorca you’ll find
This hot air balloon flight was one of the most memorable experiences we had in Mallorca. We chose the sunset ride, which turned out to be on the longest day of the year, and the weather was pristine.
The pilots arrived on time, baskets and balloons in tow and got through all the setup and safety briefings as quickly as possible to get us up into the air.
We were nervous, I’m sure everyone is a little of it’s their first time. Don’t be concerned though, the liftoff and flight are so smooth you forget you’re even moving. Just floating up and admiring all the views as the ground falls away. Just stunning. A midair Cava (not Champagne) toast topped it all off as we admired the sunset and landscape.
A couple of notes, it’s close quarters, it’s already hot in Mallorca and there’s air of heat from the burner. Don’t dress like you think it’ll be cold up in the sky. You’ll also have to hop over the basket and walk through some grassy fields so consider decent shoes. Setup and breakdown takes a little bit, but helping out speeds it up and it’s good fun.
Overall we had just an amazing time and would 100% do it again. Thank you to all the IB Ballooning crew for their hard work and great attitudes.

Tour of Palma visiting...
Tour of Palma visiting tapas bars, bakeries, the market etc to taste the local food with some extra treats along the way. All brought to life by Juan, our enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. Visited for the day on a cruise and really pleased we chose this experience.

Pivot & Pintxos
It was raining buckets. Buckets. But Daniela was amazing. She adjusted the tour so we could start inside the markets to get out of the rain and learn all about Palma. Wow, the market is like nothing I’ve seen in the states. The Seattle fish market has nothing on the fish market in Palma. So fresh. So varied. So many scary looking fish (lol). Daniela explained everything, and introduced us to so many different seafood style Pintxos, followed by Iberico Jamon at the meat market paired with wines and cheeses… we were so full and wanted to keep eating. If the weather had been more favorable, we would have done more historic walking and talking but we can’t blame the tour for God’s decision to bring rain. So Daniela helped us navigate the streets and we finished at the Cathedral whose stained glass windows are breathtaking. We wish we could have had sun in Palma, but we pivoted, had Pintxos and got to see how locals shop and hang out. Daniela is so kind, patient and knowledgeable. She also does hiking tours in Valdemossa which I wish we could have done with her! A private tour if you can swing it is the way to go for the most flexible experience with local highlights. Definitely book with her!

Really Nice Tasting of Mallorca Wines
This was a really fun tour where I learned a lot about Mallorca wines. The tasting host, Sebastian hosted it in the basement of his wine shop. He used to be a sommelier so he was able to explain the pairings of different wines with different foods. We tasted the various wines with various meats, cheeses, jams and chocolate. We were able to sample several different wines. All of the wines came from Mallorca which impressed me.

Palma food tour
Fantastic way to see the city of PALMA and a great way to sample some traditional Mallorcan food and drink. The tour guide was knowledgeable in the history of the city and gave us some fantastic recommendations for the rest of our stay in Palma. Would highly recommend
