Our guide Jeremy was excellent. Knowledgeable and cheerful. The tastings were lovely. Excellent cheeses, charcuterie and the taste of a Lyonnaise Bouchon. Also interesting history of Vieux Lyon! Highly recommend this tour.

This tour is definitely worth the money! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the culture and history of Lyon. All of the stops were incredibly informative and interactive. I loved everything from the cheese and chocolates to the silk: the wine was also delicious as was the samples of traditional lyonnaise cuisine.

Pros: our tour guide was great and super knowledgeable. The cheese, silk shop, and chocolates were all an amazing experience. Highly recommend this tour!
Cons: traditional Lyon food (as far as the main meals go) may not be what most people expect when they think of French food. It’s not the “wow” kind of flavors packed with rich complex layers. It’s just kind of okay. Maybe some people will like it, but it’s not what we were expecting. We recommend researching Bouchon menus to manage expectations

This was a fantastic tour with Nathalie. She is knowledgeable and provided loads of information on food and Lyon. We almost forgot it was a food tour! All of the food was delicious and we learned so much.

This was an amazing tour! Nathalie was our tour guide and she was exceptional. So knowledgeable about the city of Lyon and all of the marvelous food in this charming city! We sampled some amazing local foods and learned so much about the area. We were expecting just a food tour but we got both a food and history tour - it was perfect! All of the shop and restaurant owners were very welcoming and you can tell Nathalie has a great relationship with them all. She also offered suggestions on how to spend our remaining time in Lyon. 10 out of 10!

Great experience overall. The food tour also came with some historical background and seeing general sights in Lyon. The guide, Shirine, was excellent; very friendly and warm. I’d recommend if you’d like to avoid tourist traps and be told the best places to try from a local.

Great food! We stopped at 5 places: a fromage, wine shop for charcuterie, a bouchon for oeff meurette, then on for ice cream/sorbet, and finally dessert. Our guide Natalie was a wealth of knowledge! A fun experience!

I have been on countless food tours over the years, (3rd one in France this trip). Hands down, this was the BEST food tour ever. Shirine was a delight, the food was local, plentiful, delicious and included wine. The shopkeepers gave wonderful presentations/explanations. We also stopped into a beautiful silk shop and learned how this family-owned business creates their spectacular silk wares. Shirine was fabulous at incorporating historic local stories about the food and surrounding architecture. Highly recommend!!!

Our guide, Nate was outstanding. Knowledgeable, friendly, amusing & quite engaging. The tour was not only about the food. In between stops, Nate gave us a lot of history & local culture. The samplings at the stops were all delicious & the hosts or Nate were very informative about the items we were consuming.
