This was the perfect tour to understand the history and culture of Lyon through the experience of food. Our guide Marion was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, very good and communicating about the food and the old town. She clearly had good relationships with the food establishments and they welcomed us into their shops. We would highly recommend this tour and specifically Marion.

Carine was our tour guide and was a very welcoming, interesting and interested as well as enthusiastic guide which made it a most enjoyable experience. We visited a number of venues including a Bouchon, my favourites were the sweet shop and charcuterie/cheese/Praline Sirup of Lyon shop belonging to Frederick because both places had very passionate people who gave us background history of their products

Our guide Anna provided a great mix of history, culture and information on local food in Lyon. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining and took us to some delicious stops to try chacuterie, quenelle, praline and other sweets, a praline brioche and some delicious chocolates. We left the tour feeling very full. An enjoyable way to spend a few hours in Lyon.

Dave is a fantastic guide with an amazing sense of humour. He kept everyone laughing throughout the tour, and the time flew by so quickly.

Our food tour in Lyon with Elisabetta was such a great experience. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable, and you could tell how much she loves sharing Lyon’s incredible food and wine culture.
We visited several local spots, each offering something delicious and unique, from traditional Lyonnaise specialties to sweet treats and cheeses. Elisabetta explained the history and traditions behind every dish and gave great tips on what else to try during our stay.
It felt like exploring the city with a local friend who really knows the best places to eat. We left full, happy, and with a better understanding of why Lyon is known as the food capital of France. Highly recommend!

It was a nice tour and the tour guide Anna was knowledgeable about old town. Of the 5 stops you sat and tasted at only 2. The other 3 were chocolate stops and a bakery stop. If you are looking for a truly gastronomical experience than I would suggest a different tour.

This was a fantastic tour! Nichol was extremely knowledgeable and well prepared. The tour featured great tastes (we didn't leave hungry) and he had great stories to accentuate the tour.
