This was the perfect tour to understand the history and culture of Lyon through the experience of food. Our guide Marion was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, very good and communicating about the food and the old town. She clearly had good relationships with the food establishments and they welcomed us into their shops. We would highly recommend this tour and specifically Marion.

Small group of 8. A variety of food tastings with a full entre, followed by desert at different venues. A good review of Lyon food without the tripes! Easy pace and visiting oh old Lyon. Well worth the visit.
It was the best tour of our trip. We have taken many food tours but this was exceptional! Daniel was so engaging and pleasant and full of historical facts as well as information about all the stops we made. All of the food, the chocolates, the waffles, the beer, the full lunch was amazing! We all loved everything about it!

The food is absolutely delicious! The shop owners are knowledgeable and relate the history of the food through storytelling. They are engaging and rightfully proud of their craft. Our guide, Charlie, was exceptional. He truly seemed to enjoy guiding us through Lyon.

Excellent food tour in Old Town Lyon. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job of sharing the food and history of her city. There is a good amount of walking on cobblestone streets so bring your appetite and wear comfortable shoes. Highly recommend.
Knowledgeable guide who spoke English well. Three sweet stops out of five stops. The sausage stop was very educational and Stephanie also gave us lots of historical information.

It’s a walking food tour. We were taken to two charming restaurants that were located downstairs from the shop we entered. We also went to an ice cream shop, a candy shop and a boulangerie. All the food was delicious. Our guide, Anna, was knowledgable and a delight

This was a wonderful way to learn more about the history and gastronomy of Lyon. We had a wonderful time sampling some of the local delicacies and our guide Nathalie was amazing! Such a warm and welcoming person who gave us numerous ideas how to enjoy the remainder of our stay in Lyon. Would recommend highly!!
We really enjoyed our tour with Oscar. His English was perfect ( despite him saying it wasn't ). We learned a lot about the history of Lyon and its food. For lunch, please try the Quenelles. They were quite delicious. He explained the significance of the pink praline brioche and various candies. Overall, a lovely few hours. Make sure to come hungry!

Great tour. Loved that it was small; only 4 of of us. Elisabeth had time to individually talk with us and answer questions as they came up. Food was plentiful and tasty. Chocolate was good. Highly recommend. Learned more about Lyon than just the food.

Carine was our tour guide and was a very welcoming, interesting and interested as well as enthusiastic guide which made it a most enjoyable experience. We visited a number of venues including a Bouchon, my favourites were the sweet shop and charcuterie/cheese/Praline Sirup of Lyon shop belonging to Frederick because both places had very passionate people who gave us background history of their products

Our guide Anna provided a great mix of history, culture and information on local food in Lyon. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining and took us to some delicious stops to try chacuterie, quenelle, praline and other sweets, a praline brioche and some delicious chocolates. We left the tour feeling very full. An enjoyable way to spend a few hours in Lyon.
