Kim was amazing and very knowledgeable. We had great fun visiting 2 places. The first offered 10 tastings and the second, 4. We enjoyed lunch at a great spot and had a surprise at the end of the day. Perfect day, amazing time! Highly recommend!

Learned a lot about Beaujalais from Eddy who is a local person. The countryside was gorgeous and very hilly! Eddy explain about how different processes influence the same grape. He also taught us how to taste and identify the aromas of the wines. We would recommend this tour.

Romain was an amazing guide. He possesses a wealth of knowledge on wine and the region. He answered all our questions and was very enjoyable company. Romain was also a great and careful driver. He brought us to both smaller and larger scale wineries. All wines were delicious and hosts were accommodating. Lunch was at a fantastic spot and included our favorite meal of our trip. We expressed interest in French cheeses, and Romain went above and beyond to arrange for us to have a pit spot at a local French fromagerie. It showed his willingness to provide us with a unique experience tailored to our interest. Book this tour for a trip of a lifetime!

Very well organised and coordinated. Eddy was a delight and ended up working really hard doing English and Spanish translating all day and he was a pro. I loved the farms that we visited and the lunch was exceptional. A really fun day and I really enjoyed experiencing and getting to know so much about the area, the wines, the winemakers and the wine production. The company was great and we connected really well in part because Eddy facilitated it very well.

Just book it! Eddie was fantastic and took the time to answer our questions, explain about the area, the terroir and the French classification systems. We visited two wineries that were both excellent and very different which was good to have the contrast. Both Millie and Sylvie who greeted us and gave the tour at each respective winery were lovely and definitely knew the ins and outs of the wineries. The area is so beautiful and much hillier than I thought. The vines are planted on steep hillsides which was a surprise too and requires hand picking as a result. We had a delicious lunch (not included) at the second winery with a beautiful view over Fleurie. Eddie was very knowledgeable and fun. He kept it interesting and was very funny yet professional. I highly recommend this tour of Cru Beaujolais!

Unforgettable French Winery Experience

This wine tour felt great from the first meeting with our guide Eddie in the morning. The ride to the first winery I thought would be long but he made it interesting the whole way. We was in a all english group so he could focus on translating just once. We had our tasing outside which maybe wasn't the plan but was great. It was a very sunny day and we went to a chapel overlooking the valley which was truly amazing. Following this we went on the lunch that are not included in the price but it's a true french experience. About 2 h long lunch but so worth it. Wow, and Eddie and the knowledge of food and wine. The lunch ties the tour together very nicely. Then on to the second winery. Where we get to see some barrels 😍. And then back to Lyon. I would say bring cash or card or both for the lunch and winerys. It's a nice restaurant, and nice wine and recommended to share a bottle in the group and spend on a more expensive bottle. Also if you would like to buy wine in France why not on the tour where you get to tase first? That's what I did, I bought one at each winery. Thank you Eddie for a unforgettable experience! Hope you get to come to Sweden for the King trail! //Best Regards the Sweds from the North!

Our guide was Mathilde and she was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about wine. We visited 2 wineries and learned a lot about winemaking. We ate lunch at a restaurant with beautiful views. The scenery in the Beaujolais region was gorgeous.

My wife and I are from southern California and we love wine and enjoy touring our local wineries. While visiting Lyon we thought it would be fun to tour the Beaujolais wine growing area. This tour, guided by Matilde, was just perfect for us. The timing (start, duration and ending) was casual and just right. We toured two wineries, and the local wine makers were knowledgable, informative, fun and generous with their offerings. Lunch at a local restaurant was not included, but was delicious and very reasonable. We really enjoyed this tour, and if ever in Lyon again we would sign up for another of this company's tours.

Raphaelle was a wonderful guide and did a great job of translating for our group of 7 English speakers. We visited three family run wineries and had lunch at a great local place with a panoramic view. We would never have found these places without the tour so it felt very special. We had a great time overall and Eddy was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide! The one negative point was related to the lunch. Since we saw in the tour description that lunch was not included in the tour, we packed our own sandwiches. During the tour, however, the guide brought everyone to a pre-picked lunch restaurant where we were told after we sat down that it would be rude not to buy anything. Not wanting to be rude, we ordered a couple of small plates at the restaurant and then ate our sandwiches after leaving, but it would have been much better to know beforehand that there was a predetermined lunch restaurant, especially since we were not really given any alternative for lunch.

We booked it last minute but it was truly amazing. Our guide, Anaïs was helpful, she was nice and knowledgeable of the Beaujolais region and wines, she also helped us in finding restaurants in Lyon. We enjoyed the winery tours and the tasting. Would recommend this to anyone that is in the area, it was fun and an experience we will never forget.

Although not a serious wine connosiour, I decided to book this trip as a way of visiting another part of the Lyon region whilst learning something of the wine producing industry in this region. When travelling solo it is also a great way to spend a day and get to know other people. Our driver and guide, Mathilde, was friendly and knowledgable. She spoke excellent English and helped translate for the wine growers as they explained the technicalities of their industry. We stopped for a delicious lunch at a rustic restaurant to break the driving and wine tasting. Covered a large area of the Beaujolais region without feeling rushed. Scenery was lovely and a good day was had by all.
