We had a fantastic day exploring some of the lesser visited tombs and temples. Although not as famous the colours and history were breathtaking. The Valley of the Queens, Nobles and Ramesseum were excellent. Barry was an exceptional guide. His English was great but his knowledge, stories and sense of humour made for an enjoyable and fun day. Ahmed the driver was an extremely capable driver and picked us up on time and kept us safe. As a private tour we had flexibility. We started at 8.30am and were back by 1pm. This was our favourite tour of the trip. We were so happy that we booked another trip the next day and again we were delighted with the day. I can’t recommend it highly enough. There is a lot to see in Luxor and it’s well worth sending some extra time to see some of the lesser known places but without the crowds. Thank you Barry and Ahmed. We will go home with very pleasant memories.

Good tour and Raymon was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. We visited three sites including the Ramesseum, Howard Carter’s house and the valley of the queens. All of the sites were very quiet so had the place to ourselves which was a bonus. The tour lasted about 3 hours including the travel time to and from the hotel, and we had a good driver for the trip.

The nice and knowledgeable guide made this trip absolutely recommendable for everyone. Having a private guide allowed to go at our pace and have an extensive chat about everything we wanted to know. The valley of the queens seemed even more interesting than the valley of kings and I really recommend it.

We stayed for 4 full days in Luxor and used this trip to supplement some of the other, more essential tours. The temples were interesting and certainly worth seeing, but we were pretty fascinated with the Carter House. Instead of seeing the Valley of the Queens, our tour guide recommended that we see the Tombs of the Nobles. We think this was a great decision, as we were able to visit two tombs that were fabulous. Both had excellent colors and were in great condition. It is a bit of a hike up to these tomb entrances, but well worth it! Our tour guide, Youssef, was wonderful and very flexible. He adapted well to our wishes to not repeat the entire history of ancient Egypt (since we had heard it 4-5 times by then) and to focus mainly on the things that we were seeing that day. He was flexibile and helped us make the most out of this tour. Thanks Youssef!

Very informative tour with a competent tour guide named Barry. Unfortunately, my tour was in English and not in German as booked with Viator, was not a problem for me, but could be relevant for others. Departure at the hotel at 7 am. The day before I got more detailed information about the excursion via WhatsApp directly from the guide. I felt very well taken care of as a solo traveler. The destinations are also rather little visited, we were alone at all the facilities.

Sehr schöner Ausflug.tolle Tour.pünktliche Abholung im Hotel.das einzigste was wir bemängeln ist dass wir gesagt haben wir brauchen nicht in der steinfabrik halten weil wir schon etliche Male in Ägypten waren und dort nichts kaufen werden.trotzdem machten wir den stop.da wäre ein kurzer stop in einem Café schöner gewesen.
