Aldo and Carlos run an exceptional tour - they’re kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We loved having the dunes all to ourselves - we had the best time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone! Perfect for a day trip from Lima - beats spending 8 hours on a bus to Huacachina!

Must Do Adventure Activity Near Lima!! (Safe for beginners)

I had the absolute best time sandboarding in the sand dunes!! One of the biggest highlights of my trip to Peru!! My guide, Annie, as well as the instructors were very patient and encouraging as I had never done something like this before. We progressively got to more difficult dunes and while it was scary at first, I was surprised at how well I was able to pick it up. I was picked up from my hotel at 7am and requested an airport drop off on the way back, getting there promptly at 1pm. They provided lots of water and fruits as a snack. Annie spoke excellent English and Luis was helpful in demonstrating and carrying everything back up the dunes. They also got some extremely cool videos and pictures of me. I cannot recommend enough!!!

Was unable to complete excursion as the tour operator could not accommodate me! Excursion was arranged through Viator live agent but there was no availability day of activity. It was very late when I booked it and that was most likely the main factor Regards Doug Reef

We had never sand nor snow boarded before. Aldo was a patient and professional teacher. We learnt a lot and had fun! Carlos sand dune driving was extraordinary but we felt safe!

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Everything about this excursion was excellent from the beginning to end. The driver picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off. The instructor was super sweet and made us feel confident (although we had never done this) he instructed us so well that we thought we were pros at the end. 10/10 recommend!

Great experience even if you have never Sandboarded

Booked an English speaking tour. Tour director was great - clear instructions, support learning and great safety briefing. Driver did not speak English - we spent an hour with him as we traveled to get the tour director. Would have liked an English speaking driver as paid for. Driver was crazy in the dunes - certainly need to add a warning not for another who gets motion sick. I would not recommend our driver again felt unsafe at times with his driving in the dunes and in the city. Tour director made sure we had a great time sandboarding!

My husband and i had the best time. Our Private tour offroading/sandboarding was exhilarating. They were always ready to snap some great photos. Conductor was very sweet and knowledable. Sandboarding instructor was very patient and fun. Driver was impressive. They were on time to pick us up. They were down to earth and easy going. Thank you guys for the great experience.

This experience was so much fun. I have never snow boarded and barely skied in the past, but this was quick and easy to learn. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and patient. We started out on small dunes and worked our way up to bigger ones. We sand boarded at a protected dune park and there was no one else around. We had it all to ourselves which was awesome.

Great tour guide and driver, cruising the dunes was exciting and kept us on our feet, boarding gear was ok with a little trouble from the bindings, overall great day.

I'm not a snowboarder so I wasn't sure I would have fun on this tour, however it turned out to be one my favorite things to do in Lima. I highly recommend it.
