Poor communication

The experience wound up getting cancelled which doesn’t account for the 1 star, I understand that circumstances arise, but we got up, took the cabs to the meeting point and were stood up. Took over half an hour to finally get a hold of someone and the customer service line from viator was no help either. The company insisted to the point of insult that they notified us but I had no calls, voicemails, texts or WhatsApp messages. Proper communication would have warranted no review necessary.

We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to arrive at the meeting point and not receive the experience you were expecting. Unfortunately, the service had to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, which made it unsafe to proceed. As per our standard procedure in such cases, a full refund was processed promptly through Viator. We also want to clarify that we attempted to notify you via WhatsApp early that same morning with the cancellation notice. Additionally, we sent a message through Viator with all the relevant details. We regret if these communications did not reach you as intended and will certainly look into improving our contact methods to avoid similar situations in the future. This tour is typically very well-received, offering a unique outdoor experience in contact with nature.
