David was so friendly and very knowledgable about Lima! This tour’s pacing was perfect. We had one day to see Lima, and this tour delivered in a four-hour timeframe. They picked us up from our hotel right on time and got us back on time as well. Worth it!

Short, great guide, decent coverage, traffic could be a killer!

It's a very short tour, about 3.5-4 hours, of the old and new city area of Lima that covers some basics as the tour post says. The pace is perfect, although street traffic may slow things down or even cause a missed spot (we missed ChocoMuseo as we lost time stuck in traffic). Our guide was certified, trained and very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions about the city, also gave recommendations about local restaurants and other interesting places. There is no reason for not-recommending this tour!

A perfect way to explore different parts of the city in half a day!

This tour was a perfect way to explore the city during all it's periods. Renzo, our tour guide, picked us up from our hotel with his driver on time and had so much knowledge to share about Peru's history. Just like the tour name suggested, we were able to visit parts of the city that were pre-Incan such as Huaca Pucllana, as well as modern parts such as El Parque del Amor overlooking the Pacific Coast, and the city center where we saw architecture with french and spanish influences from the Colonial period. Unfortunately, there was a government protest happening that day, so parts of the city center were blocked off by the police. However, we got to explore the Catacombs instead underneath the Convent of San Francisco which was amazing to walk through, albeit kinda eery. We also got to see a vast library of books dating back to the 15th thru 17th centuries that were kept by the monks. Luckily all of the books have since been digitized. We had an amazing tour with Renzo and even enjoyed some peruvian churros during our walk. I would highly recommend this tour if you only have 4 hours to spare.

We loved walking around the historic center and going into the church and the catacombs. I wish we could have walked around the archeological site. This is a great way to see highlights of Lima though in a short amount of time. Our tour guide MP was excellent and our driver was a master.

The Lima City tour was great and our guide Renzo was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and informative with the information he provided about the history of Lima. The tour covered a lot within the 4 hours. You won’t be disappointed.

I enjoyed the tour and I learned a lot. Renzo is a very good guide. The tour is wonderful especially the city centre (old town) part. Suggest the title to be modified as it may create high expectations to see the modern part of Lima Better to focus on the old town in the centre as this is the part where the group will spend time.
