Our guide was a local enthousiast guy that showed us all of the highlights of miraflores and barranco. He told us a lot about the past of Lima and the culture. He also gave us some food recommendations. Great tour!

Interesting but not poorly managed

The ride itself was enjoyable and interesting, but there were severall issues with the management of it. The guide was 30 minutes late and he was a but impatient with the group as he tried to complete the 4:00 tour before darle in Spiteful of his lateness. Two people fell off of their bikes. The first he lectured about paying close attention to what she was doing and the second he didn't know about until some passersby told him about UT, as he had half of the group with hom far ahead of the other half. The bikes were not in the best conditions and therefore safety was a concern. I would not recommended this tour.

It was a fun and informative tour. Nicholas knew a lot about the area and was very good. It was great riding along the shore, perfect tour to visit many different sites in only a few hours. We had a lot of fun!!!!

Bike ride not tour

Tour was not very organized. Riders were at start location, but no tour guide. Departed 20 minutes late. Bike condition was not good. I have junked bikes in better condition than these bikes. Guide was not informational about areas we biked past. Guide admitted he was born and raised in Lima, but he did not know much history about city. We had bike accident and guide did not return to us to evaluate situation or person that crashed into me and was injured. Would not recommend this tour. Cost of tour should be refunded.

The bikes that we use are a vintage bikes Sorry if you didn't liked. Now, I am not remember Such a crash accident bike. We really take care of sour clients.

Glorified unmaintained bike rentals

We rode the bikes along the coast of Miraflores and into Barranco. Almost no explanation of any sites or monuments along the way. Basically, we rented a couple of unmaintained bikes for $50 US. we could’ve rented a couple of bikes for only 18 Soles ($5.35 US each) a day and done the same.

Worth Doing

This is an interesting tour covering the nicer neighbourhoods of Lima (Miraflores & Barranco). A reasonable level of fitness is required as there are some small inclines and you will need to be confident in the parts that you share the road with traffic. Lima drivers are not the most patient.... Manolo was a nice guy and was knowledgeable.

Dit nis echt een heel leuke fietstocht langs de baai van Lima. Met een superguide die veel weet van de stad en de geschiedenis van Peru. de tour stopt even in Barranga en daar kan je ook even lekker ceviche eten op de markt. Echt een heel leuke ervaring dit fietsen en eten.
