The experience was disappointing due to several major concerns. The driver was extremely unprofessional, driving recklessly and using the horn excessively—about every 15 seconds—to force other cars aside. While driving through the mountains, he was going so fast that many passengers felt nauseous and unwell. The restaurant where the tour guide stopped was also unacceptable. There was no menu, the food was of very poor quality, and my meal even contained animal hairs. No alternatives were mentioned, and the guide didn’t inform us of any nearby restaurants we could choose instead. Additionally, the tour guide was not present at the designated starting point. Instead, the bus arrived alone to pick us up, and she joined the group later at a second location. There was no prior communication about this change, leaving everyone confused and walking around searching for her. This added unnecessary stress, especially since we were all concerned about the departure time. Although we were told departure would be at 4:30 a.m. with a 10-minute grace period, the bus didn’t leave until nearly 5 a.m.

Incredible Day trip to the Andes Mountains

An incredible day! This was the break from the city that I wanted and received during my vacation in Lima. The Andes Mountains are like none other. While the language barrier was evident, the tour guide offered incredible support and help. Grateful! Highly recommend ✔️
