I researched a lot of wine tastings and this was great! It was a beautifully set table with 7 different wines plus a dessert wine. The sommelier was very informative about each wine. They also provided a good portion of cheese, meat, olives and bread. We also had to arrive late and the woman still took the 2-hour time period…she did not rush us. Fun, family experience!

My husband and I and our friends went to Capitan Drake in Lake Como today for a wine tasting and we couldn’t of been happier. We met with Sandunika, our sommelier and she was a delight!! Very knowledgeable with her wines and just a pleasant, sweet and friendly girl. We loved the wines, the snacks and spending time with her. Do yourself a favor, if you are considering doing a wine tasting go there!

We were surprised to find we were the only 2 for this game experience- Sandu was an excellent guide to Italian region wines. We tasted about 8 wines from sparkling, white, Rose but mostly reds- we will b enjoying them when we get back home!!

Hands down the best wine tasting experience in Como! We went with our son and his fiance, who were being married in Lake Como on the following Friday. Our hostess was Sandu! (hopefully I am spelling this right). We laughed and had great wines, sparkling wines, and small foods to compliment. We purchased a lot of wine to be shipped here. Prices reasonable and great tasting wines from local vineyards! The highlight of the night was my husband finding a rare champagne that he had been looking for and private story behind it. We laughed so much that the evening ended with a dessert wine and dark chocolate provided by the owner! The BEST!!!!

Although it’s a little out of the way it was wonderful. Sadu our wine person was great. We ended up ordering 6 bottles of wine to ship home. Would definitely recommend.

This was excellent. 7 wines, 5 of them were red. Option between a large meat and cheese board or a vegetarian plate with some local veggies. The host was very knowledgeable about wines and the region, and gave a us some flexibility with the red wines we drank based on our preferences. Would do this again and would recommend.

The Top tasting include 7 glasses of wines, glasses have all different shape,because every wine need a specific glass to enjoy best experience possible, we explained why, also it's super nice to have all that glasses in front of you ! Board food is with selected local cheese and meat or vegetarian, fresh bread, segale and taralli, it is a lot, lot more then aperitive, the Wine Tasting you did, started from an elegant and champenoise sparkling Franciacorta, basically all wines from independent vigneron, the top wines you tasted Amarone Ca Coato and Sagrantino di Montefalco di Arnaldo Caprai to finish with Recioto Valpolicella and chocolate pairing. The experience with you about 3 hours from 6pm to 9pm that a lot more than usual, we enjoyed with you and the other people that were really happy to taste such amazing wines we love, from extremly smooth an gentle to a tough and full body with tannic sensation. At the end all glasses were empty, food board disappear, that a good sign ? we do our best to offer unforgettable wine experience by the glass and friendly welcoming, all the best for your traveling.

We had a rainy day in Como and booked this tour last minute. We were greeted when we arrived by Mama and the sommelier, Ricardo. He was a wonderful host and was very knowledgeable about the wines and champagne selected. The food pairing was very generous including beef, prosciutto, cheeses and vegetables - a whole light meal! With our last wine, he presented Mama’s homemade chocolate salami, which was wonderful. This is a great experience for couples or groups and I highly recommend!
