Wonderful experience! Would recommend to others. Food and tour were both great and learned a lot from our guide.
Janis was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, one of our best ever! We had a great time with her and the food was very good as well. The tour description was quite understated.
Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. The food choices were very good, although having wine at 11am was a bit early for us lol.
There is a lot of walking and the group moved very quickly. So if you have mobility issues, take note. Otherwise, I would highly recommend her tour!
Food was pretty average. Better to have had local tastings of specialities rather than menues from an average restaurant.

Our Como food tour is designed to introduce guests to local cuisine through carefully selected venues and regional dishes. However, we understand that you would have preferred a wider variety of smaller specialty tastings rather than restaurant-style courses. We appreciate your suggestion and will keep it in mind as we continue refining the experience.
The paste was fine. Too Small of a group, only 4 people. Food was not great, could have found better on our own. Not enough information about Como and surroundings, not enough suggestions for our free time was provided.

Our tours are intentionally designed for small groups, allowing for a more personal and relaxed experience, although we understand this format may not suit everyone.

It was great to experience Como with a local. Everything we ate and drank was wonderful! I felt like we got a special look behind the tourist curtain. Book at the beginning of your visit!
The food tour was our first activity in Como and it was great! Our host was lovely and knowledgeable. We learned many things about the Como area and had some delicious food, wine, gelato and espresso along the way! A perfect first activity to get ourselves acclimated to the area.
It was only us and our guide! Georgia was a great guide. She showed us some less touristy streets and things to look for at local shops. We started at a local wine shop which was so charming and had an awesome dinner at a trattoria. Great way to explore the city!

The tour is a great way to check out the area, learn about different sections of Lake Como. Taste different local foods and wines. Wonderful knowledgeable tour guide.
This walking food tour, led by our guide Mario, was amazing. We tried a lot of traditional foods, including ravioli, pizza, and buckwheat! The people on our tour were also great. Mario did a great job explaining the history behind the food and pointing out some points of interest in Lake Como. This food tour was one of the best I have done (and I have done a lot of them).
Our host Janis communicated well with us prior to meeting and was a very bubbly and engaging host.
We had a great time experiencing different local delicacies. My favourites had to be the beef and ice cream. Not forgetting the fresh meats and cheeses with prosecco or wine 🤔 . Thanks again Janis for the great experience. It was lovely to meet you.
Amazing tour! Our tour guide Giada was so friendly and knowledgeable, and we were able to learn so much. We were able to see so much of Como and try some awesome food. We tried unique pizzas, meats, cheeses, wines, polenta, espresso, award winning gelato (my favorite of the tour), and more. Highly recommend, and we would absolutely look to do another food tour in other countries/cities.
Janis was AMAZING!! She made us feel like part of a big family, and even went above and beyond to show us all the hot spots (even ones not related to the tour). We just wanted her to stay and hang out with us the rest of the day!! She’s so bubbly and knowledgeable about all the food, the city, traditions & history!! Our Queen Janis “Joplin” gave us one unforgettable food tour!!

This was our first such tour. Honestly, we. could go to dinner at a fine restaurant for the same price. It was a good way to learn your way around a town you had never been I liked the foods, my husband , thought it was just ojay.
Lovely group of people. Janis did a great job. Would recommend. You get a full dinner out of it. well done.
Excellent experience! Janis was very informative about food and culture and really supported local. We had a fantastic group of 12 who literally became friends! Enjoyed the pizza, the wine, the meal and gelato! All local people and delicious!
This tour was very disappointing and poor value. The food provided was very limited and small portions. It was advertised as a 4 course meal but was more a seriesof snacks. A single glass of wine was provided at the first course, there wasn't any drinks available, even as an extra, at any others, which diminished the experience.
The restaurants might have been authentic, but seemed more just cheap.
I'll add that the tour guide was friendly and knowledgable. But the tour itself was overly expensive for what was offered and disappointing.

We loved our guide, Giada. Born and raised in Como, she knew all the best foods, the most interesting local history, and was genuinely fun to hang out with. Good starters, main dish, dessert and surprises along the way. We explored some really cool hidden streets with rich history. This is the best way to learn the history and culture of Como. Fantastic tour with highlights of the city and the most wonderful guide. Giada chose the best places and made great choices for our group. We enjoyed her favorite lunch spot and award winning grape gelato - try it if you can you will not be disappointed. We learned about Italian customs while eating at an osteria. This tour is highly recommended.
Come prepared to eat. Each restaurant was great with unique food from each. The wine to start, then pizza, then full course lunch, than gelato followed by cappucino.

Janice was a great tour guide, very fun. All of stops were great places. We went back to the wine shop later that afternoon and ate dinner at the pizza shop she took us to.
Janis provided us a great tour of Como. She was personable and knowledgeable. The food stops were all enjoyable and made us feel like locals.
What a beautiful city to explore with delicious food and wine. So many local places we stopped at. The gelato uva fragola was amazing.
The food tour was great. Got to visit a 4th generation family owned wine store. A pizza place with several samples. Also a family owned restaurant. Great food and our tour guide Chiara was the best! Would highly recommend!
