One of the stops on my Italy trip was Lake Como (Bellagio) and I knew that doing a boat tour was a must. I spent weeks researching and based upon previous reviews I decided to book with Ermes Tours and I can not express enough how glad I am that I did. Our guide Pier was FANTASTIC. He picked us up on time at a location that was very easy to find. Pier was so kind, knowledgable and engaging. Pier actually has generational lineage in the town of Bellagio so he knew so much about the area. The boat ride itself was absolutely picturesque and the boat was very well kept. There are no words for how gorgeous Lake Como is. It is absolutely worth doing this if you can book a private boat. This was an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life and I am so grateful to Pier and Ermes tours for making my 5 year wedding anniversary so magical! This boat ride is worth every single cent please do not hesitate! Thank you Ermes Tours and Pier!!!

We had a fantastic private boat tour from Bellagio with Pier. He was professional, friendly, and shared interesting stories about the villas and villages around Lake Como. The boat was very comfortable and spotless and Pier made sure we had the best views and photo stops. Ermes Boat Tours on Lake Como from Bellagio with Pier was, without question, the highlight of our entire trip!
My friend and I took our daughters to Lake Como to celebrate their high school graduation, and one thing they really wanted to do was experience a boat tour of the lake. Booking with Ermes Boat Tours was one of the best decisions we made.
From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. Pier was incredibly responsive and made communication easy from the moment I booked. He promptly answered all of my questions before our trip and provided clear, detailed instructions on where to meet him. On the day of the tour, he arrived right on time, making the entire experience stress-free.
His boat was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. Pier's knowledge of Lake Como, its beautiful villas, historic landmarks, and fascinating stories made the tour even more memorable. He was warm, friendly, and fun, making us all feel welcome from the moment we stepped aboard.
We spent a magical afternoon taking in the breathtaking scenery, relaxing on the crystal-clear lake, and enjoying delicious Prosecco. One of the highlights was stopping for a swim in the lake—a refreshing treat on such a hot day! At the end of the tour, Pier was even kind enough to drop us off at a more convenient location so we didn't have to walk back into the center of Bellagio in the heat.
Every one of us agreed that this was an unforgettable experience and the absolute highlight of our vacation. If you're visiting Bellagio or anywhere near Lake Como, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Ermes Boat Tours. You won't regret it!

This is a MUST DO if you are staying in the mid-lake area. We stayed in Tremezzo and Pier's boat tour was one of our highlights. He picked us up from the dock in Tremezzo so it was super convenient. From the water, we toured Bellagio, Managgio, Varenna, Tremezzo, Lenno, and more. Two swimming spots let us swim in Lake Como with the most breathtaking views while floating in the water. Pier was fantastic - super knowledgeable from growing up in Bellagio. His English is excellent and we had fun sharing bits about Kentucky and trying out our Italian phrases with him. I cannot recommend this high enough. There were 5 of us - my wife and 3 kids (19, 16, 13) - and we had plenty of room on the boat.

We had an amazing private boat tour on Lake Como. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and seeing the beautiful villas, historic landmarks, and charming lakeside towns from the water was unforgettable. Our guide, Pierre, born and raised in Bellagio was exceptional, friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and architecture of the area. He shared fascinating stories and insights throughout the tour that made the experience even more special. We never felt rushed and had plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the stunning views. We had the most wonderful private boat tour with Pier during our honeymoon in Lake Como.
