My wife and I booked a private boat tour on Lake Como during our honeymoon, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip.
Our guide, Pier, was phenomenal from start to finish. A few days before the tour, he proactively reached out because he had been closely monitoring the weather. He suggested moving our departure to 10 AM to avoid potential rain and enjoy calmer water—and he was absolutely right. It ended up raining during our original time slot, something the weather apps didn’t even predict. That small adjustment made a huge difference and really set the tone for how thoughtful and attentive he was.
We departed from Bellagio, and Pier guided us through the stunning villas around the central part of the lake. Being a Bellagio native, he brought everything to life with personal stories—sharing insights about the villa owners and his own family’s history in the area. It made the experience feel authentic and special, not just a standard tour.
He also surprised us with snacks from a local bakery and a bottle of Italian Prosecco, which was a perfect touch. Enjoying that while taking in the views made the whole experience feel even more memorable and relaxed.
At the end of the tour, he even offered to drop us off near the gardens in Bellagio so we could continue exploring without backtracking—another thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated.
I can’t recommend this experience enough. If you’re visiting Lake Como, this is absolutely worth it.

Highlight of our trip to Lake Como. Pier was an excellent captain and had some fascinating stories to share about the villas and the lake. His style of story telling was informative and funny. We were picked up by Pierre owner of the boat whom has great knowledge and love of Bellagio. He took us around this amazing lake area and showed us many of the historical and beautiful villas with the history behind them. We then stopped in the most peaceful place on the lake and sipped on some delicious prosecco while relaxing and taking in our beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend!

Pier is very professional, prioritised safety, knew the lake very well and the little stories around various villas which were quite entertaining.
He was quite patient with us because we had a 2 year old.
The tour was relaxing and fun.
Pier was very accommodating asked us about our plan for the rest of the day and dropped us close to Villa Melzi after getting to know that we wanted to go there after. Also he picked us up from pescallo bay on our request.

We had one of the best experiences during our time at Lake Como by going on this boat trip. Pier was our captain, and he was incredibly informative, fun, and engaging throughout the entire journey. He shared fascinating insights about the villas, history, and hidden spots around the lake, making the experience both relaxing and enriching.
The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and being on the water gave us a completely different perspective of Lake Como. Pier made sure everyone felt comfortable and took the time to answer questions and point out special landmarks along the way.

Me and my fiance had such a wonderful experience with our tour guide Pier. He was extremely flexible allowing us to change our time earlier in the day from our original booking and was filled with information about the history of the lake and the multiple villas surrounding it. He even booked us a reservation for lunch at the restaurant next to Villa Melzi in Bellagio. I would highly recommend this amazing tour and Pier as your tour guide. 5 stars all around!

My husband and I took this tour on our first day in Lake Como and it was incredible. Pier was so kind and knowledgeable. He was even flexible with our booking time when rain was in the forecast to ensure we had a beautiful day. He is a local to Bellagio and added so many personal touches to the trip and we loved hearing about his grandfather who also grew up in Bellagio. We did an hour trip and felt like he showed us so many beautiful parts of the lake. His boat was very clean and he was a great driver, navigating sometimes choppy parts of the lake. One of our favorite parts of our honeymoon so far!!

We had a wonderful 2 hour guided boat tour with Pier. He was super knowledgeable about Bellagio and the history of the village as well as the beautiful Villas around Lake Como.
We took beautiful pictures and really enjoyed ourselves. We even got to swim in the calm part of the lake and drink a bottle of delicious Prosecco. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a guided tour. Pier will not disappoint!

This was an AMAZING tour given by Pier. He was kind, patient, and cared so much about making sure we all had a wonderful time (which we did). This is a must-do in Lake Como.
