Amazing experience! Not too long or too short. You ride horses to the waterfall and you can get up close and personal to the waterfall. We were also able to get into the waterfall river. Really nice views. Be prepared to walk so wear some good walking shoes with grip. You will be going down and up a lot of stairs when you get off the horse to view the waterfall. After taking a dip to cool off, our tour guides cut up super sweet pineapples for everyone to indulge after the hike up from seeing the waterfall. Our tour guides Kevin and Jackson were amazing guides! They took pictures for us throughout the experience and were very friendly. On the way back we stopped to see deadly red frogs, toucans and sloths in the trees.

Lovely scenery but the horses were very sad. As experienced horse people, it hurt us to see their ribs sticking out and the deadness in their eyes. Their hackamores were cruelly tight. They are marched straight up a mountain on concrete and straight back down. A lot to ask of any animal. Sorry, but it’s true! 😢
