What To Expect
Meet your guide at your hotel before your chosen morning or afternoon departure time (see schedule options). Upon arrival at the park, gear up in your harness and wait for your individual equipment safety check from a guide.
Climb up to the first platform to begin your adventure. Glide down eight galvanized steel cables, each bumping up your adrenaline and offering a bird’s eye view of the tropical rainforest below.
Between cables, enjoy the view from the departure platforms, some of which are built into trees to offer exceptional views of Costa Rica’s biodiversity. Also take this time to ask any questions you might have about local wildlife to your guides, all of whom have extensive knowledge of Costa Rica’s environment.
Take a break from flying down cables to enjoy complimentary bottled water and juicy tropical fruits. Return to your hotel at the end of your treetop adventure.

This was a private canopy tour with just our family of 4. The guides made sure our kids, ages 9 and 11, felt safe and comfortable and had a blast. They were very efficient started on time and had transportation waiting on us at the end. They were very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and provided lots of interesting facts along the way. Highly recommend!!!!

The level was perfect, plenty of thrills but we never felt terrified. Both my partner and I (in our late 50s-early 60s) and children (26 ann 22 years old) loved the experience. There were beautiful views of the forest. The guides were excellent

This was so much fun! I was very scared to try zip lining but Samuel, Roderick, and Ronald were very patient and understanding and we all had a blast! My husband and two kids and I loved soaring through the trees! The guides did a wonderful job explaining everything, and they took pictures and videos throughout our trip. We hope to get the chance to go back!

Great experience. We booked a private tour. Zip lined through 8 courses, varying in length and height from the ground. Kids were assisted. Youngest one (7) went by himself. We spotted toucans on the way. Afterwards we purchased pictures for $50 (optional) and received complimentary water and fresh fruits.

I’ve done zip lining before and this tour wasn’t the best of the ones I’ve done. It felt very assembly line - like we were just cogs in a machine and the people helping were just rushing us through. I never felt unsafe, but it just didn’t feel like any of the people cared if we were enjoying ourselves or not. They barely said hello or asked us how we were. I wanted to take pictures of my kid coming down the line after me but I felt rushed to get off the platform. Also the tour says it includes bottled water and there are only small paper cups available at the end that hold maybe two sips. Wear sunscreen! You are very exposed on a lot of the lines while waiting. Overall this tour is good, but it’s not great.

The staff picked us up from Amor Arenal at the stated time and drove us to the Canopy Adventure site. The bus was good quality and the drivers were friendly and safe. At the canopy the guides were very friendly and joked with all of us. One young participant was nervous during the zip lining and they helped her out and made her experience enjoyable the whole time. I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. I do think we benefited from a low turnout for our time slot. There were only eight of us and it made the experience more enjoyable. DO NOT expect such low turnout. It is normally much busier.

If you are like me, you are terrified of heights. I came soooo close to backing out but the guides were very professional and reassuring as well as adding some good wit. My 9YO loved it and ooooooooohhhhhh s still begging to go again, the Tarzan swing was a rush like no other (that one, I did chicken out on) but my son loved it. Defenetly reccomend

Diversion maxima viendo el paisaje por encima de las copas de los árboles. La experiencia en las tirolinas fue muy buena y el equipo que nos acompañó muy profesional y amable. Es muy recomendable para hacer con amigas o familia.
