Angry and upset Don’t trust them 🥲

We canceled our tour and still didn’t get our refund Do NOT trust this company We booked them for 2 tours on 2 consecutive days and weren’t pleased with our 1st tour so we wanted to cancel our 2nd one and they were dishonest and put as a No show !! I had texts confirming our cancellation but Viator didn’t refund us I got charged almost $700 for this tour Very frustrated and upset !

Hello Sonia, We politely disagree with your idea, and your review which is based on unjustified requests, rather than an accurate reflection of our experience with you. On the first tour, you should have remembered to mention that you arrived at the pick-up point at 10:00 am instead of the agreed 08:00 am, due to oversleeping! This had the potential of inconveniencing the entire tour experience, but thanks to our understanding and flexibility in dealing with such situations, we were able to extend the tour duration to ensure you had a satisfactory experience. We accepted your suggested places to visit and covered all the tour activities in the itinerary, which made us finish the tour three hours later than the scheduled time and this cost us a lot! We thought you would be grateful for our efforts, but now you are being dishonest! We did not receive a cancellation for the second day; otherwise, the canceled bookings do not have the 'no show' option, which is only displayable on the day of the tour. You should have mentioned that you conspicuously failed to show up at the designated meeting point due to your personal reasons, but instead you tried to force a refund! Without showing any diligence for us, you sought a full refund for both days (including for the first day tour in which you completely participated), on the condition that you would leave us a bad review, and you were denied the refunds according to Viator's terms and conditions. We don't operate tours to con travelers out of their hard-earned cash. Japan is a country where mutual trust and service delivery are highly valued! You should understand that we go extremely overboard to fulfill our travelers' needs, for mutual benefits. We put in a lot of effort to arrange incredible experiences, which are even better with travelers' cooperation, and failing to show up on the day of the tour without any good reason is strictly unacceptable! Your actions will be a good lesson to us to be more vigilant and not to fall victim to travelers with ill intentions to take us for a ride! To our future esteemed travelers, providing incredible experiences is our top priority and we hope you will base your decision on the honest reviews on our website and not be misguided.

A great way to tour Kyoto and the outer sights

Let Kevin and Chi plan your day. We did an ambitious full day tour with sights in Kyoto, Uji and Nara all with stops we wanted to do plus some great ideas from Kevin to make it even better. Kevin is very flexible and communicates frequently. He provided a great new minivan for our four person family to tour in comfort (you'll need the AC in the summer!). The highlight of the day was our unique lunch location which was spectacular. Kevin has great passion for the region and the culture. Chi was a joyful delight - so warm. If you are looking to get around the region with ease, I highly recommend working with Kevin to make a custom day.
