This tour was a great way to learn about the maki g of Sake and it's place in japanese culture. Bob was a great guide who had worked in a brewery. He could offer insights into what it was like to produce it and had interesting cultural observations as well.

My husband and I had a great time on the sake tour with our guide Bob. He was very knowledgeable about sake and made it an excellent experience. He brought us to a little gem of a brewery. And we even brought home a bottle of sake from there. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience.

Bob, your guide, is truly delighted to hear that you had a satisfying experience. The brewery you visited is one of our hidden gems that we proudly introduce to our guests, so we’re very happy to hear you saw it as such.

My wife and I met up with Bob for our Sake walking tour. You do not want to drive after this one! The meet up place was very easy to get to from Kyoto Station. Once we got started on the walking tour it didn’t take long for each of us to get to know each other very well as we traversed between the different breweries and museums. My wife and I had a very delightful time. We discovered that Bob worked several seasons at a sake factory, learning the culture, trade and traditions of making Sake, which nicely accompanied his in depth knowledge of sake making down to the most minute detail of the process. We also learned quite a bit about how Kyoto became the center of the Sake industry. I must warn everyone, that understandably, the tour gets better after each stop! Hats off to Bob, we really appreciated the effort he put into our tour, if anyone is booking this tour in the future, you should ask for Bob.

This was an excellent tour that I highly recommend! Our tour guide Bob was very cool, fun and easy to talk to. He also used to work in a sake brewery and was an expert on both the process of producing sake and the different varieties we could try. He took us to authentic locations that we would have never found on our own.
I highly recommend this tour!

Thank you so much for a wonderful time! We were guided by a very kind and knowledgeable former sake brewery worker. The tour fee included two opportunities for tasting and comparing different types of sake, making it a very reasonable tour. I initially thought the sake tasting would be more of a standing trial, but to my surprise, we entered a shop where we could sit down and enjoy not only the sake but also accompanying dishes. Without a doubt, I believe this is the best among the sake tours.

We had a lovely time with Nakai and his wife while they took us to Kizakura Kappa Country along with a sake brewery for a tasting. They were very informative and went out of their way to make the experience amazing. Thank you again! If more than 5 stars was possible they earn it!
