A really good way to see the Jewish quarter. The guide, who was a university lecturer, was able to point out lots of buildings and monuments, explain loads of the history and was very informative.
We visited a small synagogue (admission was extra and optional but not expensive and worth seeing).
Lots of walking, but a great way to see the area and not miss anything.
Definitely would recommend if you interested in the history of Krakow.

Andre/Andrew was very knowledgeable about the subject and clearly had taken the time to learn as much as he can about the topic. Despite the rainy weather, Andrew spent even more time then scheduled to make sure that we arrived at the Ghetto. Though this was the shortest part of the tour it was also the most interesting. I would suggest shortening the material at the start of the tour so that more time can be spent in the latter locations.

Our guide was very knowledgable and I felt his deep love for krakow and Poland.
Thanks to this tour , my understanding for Polish history was deepened.

Very informative. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was nice that it was a small group. You need to have 15 PLN per person to enter the synagogue

Our host was great. He did not rush the tour and was a great speaker with interesting insights and details

Krzysztof was an excellent guide, well in-formed and generous with his time. Through him, we got a university level perspective of Poland and experienced profoundly exceptional hospitality that Polish people could be proud of.

A very informative walking tour of the old Jewish quarter. Magda was an excellent guide and she explained the history of the area very clearly. Would highly recommend this tour.

This was a very enjoyable tour and our guide Rob taught us so much. He is incredibly knowlegable and shared with us the history of how the jews were accepted into Krakow by the King many years ago. He also shared how many other non-jews locally died in the holocaust, even some from the local church we toured.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Thank you so much for your wonderful review!
We're thrilled to hear you had such an enjoyable tour and that Rob taught you so much. It sounds like his incredible knowledge really shone through, especially in sharing the deep history of Jewish acceptance in Krakow by the King, and importantly, the often less-told stories of non-Jewish local victims of the Holocaust, including those from the local church. These are such important narratives to share.
We are very proud to have guides like Rob who can bring such depth and understanding to our tours.
We would love to welcome you back to Krakow in the future! Perhaps Rob or another of our knowledgeable SeeKrakow guides could share even more stories and sights of our city with you.

This tour touched our hearts. Margareth our guide was fantastic, exceptional, splendid knowledge, but above all she told us the truth with the heart, above history there was a human being telling everything. Fantastic. No words to describe her outstanding work! It gave us a fantastic time and a lot to think e learn
Response from Host, Jun 2025

It sounds like Margareth made a truly special impression. We are so proud to have guides like her who share not only their splendid knowledge and the historical facts but do so with such heart and humanity. It means the world to us that her outstanding work provided you with a fantastic time and so much to think about and learn.
We would be absolutely delighted to welcome you back to Krakow again. Perhaps Margareth or another of our passionate guides could show you even more of what our beautiful city and its surroundings have to offer with SeeKrakow!

We had a fantastic guide for our walking tour. She grew up in Krakow and had family that witnessed the ghetto experience. Very informative tour and very well done. It’s tough history but so important to vomit ye telling the story so this never happens again.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We are deeply moved to hear that you had such a fantastic and informative walking tour.
It truly makes a difference when our guides have personal connections to the history of Krakow, and we're glad her family's experiences brought such a poignant perspective to the tour. You are absolutely right; it is tough history, but it's incredibly important to continue telling these stories to ensure such events never happen again. We are committed to this.
We appreciate you choosing SeeKrakow and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on another of our tours in the future.

Our tour guide Joanna was amazing. So friendly and engaging. Joanne made our first day in Kraków one to remember. She had a wealthy of information about the area that was beyond what we expected. We would gladly come back to do this tour again. Joanna is an exceptional guide and if its possible please request her as your guide, you will not be disappointed
Russ_W, Mar 2025
Our guide was so knowledgeable and helpful and took time to answer our questions. Highly recommended.

Fantastic guided walk around the Jewish quarter. Our guide, Andrzej, had a deep knowledge of the Jewish history of Krakow and brought it to life with some wonderful stories and biographies. Three hours went by in a flash. Could have gone on for longer. Thoroughly recommended.

Booked tour for myself and Dad on Thursday 19th Sept. I think the tour guide was Joanna. She was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. We popped into the Oscar Schindler factory for a few mins which we'd already been to but she added another layer of facts and stories about Mr Schindler which was fun. The tour is well paced, you're not overwhelmed with facts and you're not knackered at the end of it. Highly recommended.
Robert_A, Sep 2024
We ended up having a private tour and we were the only 2 on this one. Joanna was such a great tour guide that we also signed up for her afternoon old town tour.

Once again, we are very sorry.

Very enjoyable tour with a very knowledgeable and proud local guide . I was worried we would see the things covered in the old town tour again but this was so different and showed us areas we had no idea about
Melissa_N, Aug 2024
Such an enlightening tour of an important part of Krakow's history. Sofie did an amazing job of guiding us through the Kazimierz district of the city. A must see while in Krakow to understand the plight of the Jews during WWII in this part of Poland.
Agnieszka_B, Aug 2024
Worst tour we have ever been on. You take 10 steps and stop to talk for 10 min. Took us 1.5hrs to even get to Kazimierz by foot. Andrzej was rude and although knowledgeable does not know how to guide an entertaining tour. The whole group was very bored and annoyed. We decided to leave the tour at that point as it was a waste of time. ALSO, THEY OFFER FREE TOURS ONCE YOU GET INTO KAZIMIERZ. When I tried to get a refund the tour guide was offended and lied to Viator and said we were late, he had to meet us elsewhere etc. which wasn’t at all true. They won’t even give me a partial refund. Terrible customer service as well. Save your time and money.

MAGDA was my guide and she was INCREDIBLE.
She covered all the historical detail and storylines associated with Jewish Poland.
We visited all 7 synagogues and key historical sites including what remains of the ghetto wall.
I can’t recommend her and this tour enough.
Destiny_B, Jul 2024
Awesome knowledge guide, it rained during our tour however I guide was patient and asked us what we would prefer to do even proving one person on our tour with her umbrella. Our guide was an expert on the history of the city and really brought the history to life for us!
Maryna_W, Jul 2024
This is a great tour. Our guide, Krzysztof, was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. Highly recommend this tour.
Diana_H, Jul 2024
A big thankyou to Krzysztof for a fabulous tour. Very informative and interesting and emotional too. There were only 3 people on the tour which was a real bonus as we had ample opportunity to ask questions/discuss in more detail.
Ohad_S, Jun 2024
The tour was interesting and inspiring, led by the very knowledgeable guide Gregory. Met very nice and warm people in this trip with whom i will certainly keep in touch. Do recommend!
Seth_B, Jun 2024
Excellent Tour! Our guide was amazing and full of knowledge. Well worth the minimal cost. Though I’ve read much, it was spectacular to see it in person and I learned so much more than any book can provide. It is a lot walking, which is fine by me, but others may just want to be careful if traveling with someone elderly. Highly Recommend!
Michelle_G, Jun 2024
Greg was a walking history book of Krakow. Enjoyed so much more than the bike tour I took a day earlier. More time to learn and soak up the experience. Wish he would have slowed down his speech a little and took the time to ask for questions.
Tanis_D, Jun 2024
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the people who lived here. He explained everything in detail and told us about his family’s experiences living through the period of the holocaust. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Krakow - and we got to listen to klezmer music and enjoy a delicious dinner at a restaurant after the tour finished.
