If your hotel is not listed, please add a remark, and we will pick you up from any accommodation (also Airbnb) located within Krakow City limits. You can also choose one of our pickup points. Failing to provide the pickup location 24 hours prior to the service will result in assigning the meeting point, which might not be close to the customer's accommodation. Please note that if your hotel is located in the city center or Jewish Quarter, the pickup will be directly from the accommodation, but after the tour, you might be dropped off at the closest dropoff point. If your accommodation is located outside Krakow city limits, it is possible to be picked up at an additional charge. For example pickup from Krakow airport is 33€. Exceptional tour. Our...

Matt_W, Mar 2026
Exceptional tour. Our guide Tomasz was so knowledgeable and explained every facet of the experience in a very interesting but personable way, linking stories to artefacts, experiences of personal relevance..

Would recommend Mr shuttle.

Jill_E, Nov 2025
The trip organisation with mr shuttle was really good Good info. Driver was excellent. Really happy The camp trip itself is quite long. And are draining emotionally. Alot of walking.

Rushed experience, but okay

Sam, Aug 2025
Felt way too rushed by the driver to get from place to place—got yelled at when trying to go use the restroom once during the 5 hour experience. Driver was a bit rude to our group as well. Very rough drive, would not recommend for car sick-prone individuals. Seats in the van were very wobbly and driver would constantly slam on brakes. Tour itself was nice and the Auschwitz guides are very knowledgeable. Tour did not end late afternoon like stated, ended closer to 1. Worth it for the low price I guess.

Highly recommend

Melinda_A, Aug 2025
The day went very smoothly. I was picked up at 6 AM (even though booking was for 7 AM) and arrived at 7:30. By 8:00 I entered and joined the group tour. It was so much easier and well worth the money not having to stop at everyone’s hotel on the way there and back. It meant that the day was not nearly as long and tiring as it could have been. After a day at Auschwitz the last thing you want to do is be stuck on the bus for hours. I would highly recommend paying the extra money for the private shuttle service. The first part of the tour was very good and the guide gave a lot of information. The second part went much quicker and she said very little which was a bit disappointing because I feel like we missed a lot. But overall it was well done.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Hello Melinda, Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We're glad that you enjoyed your tour option with private transportation. It indeed makes the whole experience much smoother. We're sorry you felt that you missed a lot on the second part of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. Kindly note that all guides are the official educators provided by the Museum. We wish our guests could spend more time there, but we need to follow the regulations, which are beyond our control. Once again, thank you for your feedback, and we hope to see you again on your next visit to Krakow! Gabriela from MrShuttle

Very Impressed with Transport but tour was rushed - NOTE this is the auschwitz staff and not the tour operator

cj_s, Dec 2024
I was very impressed with the transport to aushwitz. They messaged on all platforms with a pick up time 24 hours before the tour started. They were bang on time with no problems. The mini bus is comfy with chargers and plenty of room and the driver was a lovely guy. On the bus you watch a documentary which was very insightful. There were 15 people on a 30 seater perhaps as it was christmas eve. However, as for the actual tour, I found it was very rushed and i did not have enough time to absorb any of the information or read certain things. In the tour of the second camp, I could not even catch up with the tour and as there was no headphones on this tour ( there is on the other camp) i couldn’t understand any of it. so ended up looking around myself. However, it is important to note that the tours are not conducted by the tour operator and rather the aushwitz museum itself. Therefore not matter what tour you book with, this will be the case. Overall, a very emotive experience and i’m so glad I went with this tour company. 100% recommend

Large group tour, very rushed

Julie_B, Nov 2024
This is a large group tour (we had 29). I found that with that large of a group it is impossible to take the time necessary to appreciate what happened there and the huge impact it had. We quickly walked by things and had no chance to linger at all. There were places at the camp we didn’t see because the group was too large. We walked by things I wish were explained. The trip in the van to Auschwitz was very cramped. They play a movie but if you are anywhere near the back you will not hear it. It’s a shame because it looked really interesting. Overall, the tour guide was fine. The skip the line part was great but the rest left me with more questions than answers. The individual headphones really helped since most of the tour I could barely see my guide. If you want time to really see the camps and to be able to ask questions, this is not the tour for you. I really want to go back so I can see more but I don’t know if I’ll ever be in Poland again. I was pretty disappointed.

Response from Host, Nov 2024

Dear Julie, we operate the tours with groups of up to 30 participants. This is the standard group that is allowed to enter the Auschwitz Memorial Museum and the limits are strictly defined by the regulations of the Museum. The standard tour takes up to 3,5 hours and it is also specified in the Museum's statute. We wish our guests can spend more time there however this is not something we can change. All visitors must follow the rules. Our minivans have 2 screens inside, one on the front, and one in the middle. The sound system has 6 speakers that are located also in the back of the car. You can always contact us, and we will be happy to send you a link to the movie, so you can watch it again. Kind regards, Zuzanna MrShuttle

Great Tour

Jerry_a, Nov 2024
Guide was very knowledgeable of the locations and was able to share insight into each of the buildings. The pick up from the hotel and skipping the line was more than worth the money the tour cost. Pulling into the parking lot in the shuttle van at 7:00 am and seeing a line already wrapped around the building to buy tickets, I knew I had made the right choice in tours. Walking right in and straight to a guided tour was wonderful. The only complaint I have was the tour felt a little rushed, mainly during the second half at Birkenau but I would highly recommend this tour to anyone if nothing else but to skip the long line.

Excellent tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau

Walter_R, Jun 2024
Our Auschwitz-Birkenau tour guide was exceptional. He spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable in all aspects. Our mini-bus was clean and comfortable, the video film shown en route was very informative, and our driver/guide was also excellent. The only negative was lack of clarity on the morning pickup time. Initial booking said pickup would be between 7-8 am with return by 4 pm. Notification on day before said our specific pickup time at our location was 7 am. This was then later changed to 5:30 am, and then changed again to 5:50 am. If one wasn't paying close attention to their phone, they could end up missing the tour. I think better consistency is warranted. The return time originally stated was also inaccurate, even when adjusting for the earlier departure time (got back considerably earlier).

Would be better

Arturs_S, Mar 2024
Very difficult to hear tour guide speech. But this is not about the guide. This is about circumstances on the site (other groups, loud floor etc.) and technique. It could be very appreciated to use "radio earphones" provided by tour operator. I saw this option in other groups, but not in our unfortunately...

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Dear Artur, thank you for your review. This is the museum that is responsible for the headsets and usually, all guests receive them at the entrance. Unfortunately, the Museum is changing the company that works at the entrance and with the earphones, so at this moment, they don't give the sets to all customers. It is not the usual situation; all the groups have earphones every day. Within the next few days, the earphones will be back and our clients will hear everything better. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. King regards, MrShuttle

Bitterly disappointed with Viator.

MarieTherese_L, May 2023
Pick up late. Over charged by virtue of billing in US dollars having agreed & paid by credit card cost in Euros.

Response from Host, Jun 2023

Dear, please contact Viator regarding the payment. MrShuttle as a supplier does not have any influence on the payments. The payment is made directly by Viator. Kind regards, Zuzanna

An information packed day of realism

Paul_C, Oct 2022
A really good information packed tour a must if you are visiting Krakow to get a full understanding of what actually went on in the camps during the war nothing will set you up for what you see, the polish quide that took us round both camps was excellent ,

Response from Host, Dec 2022

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us! We’d love to continue providing great service to awesome customers like you. Thanks again! King regards, Mr.Shuttle

Terrific guide using headphones and walkie talkie. Pick up and drop off as agreed. Prisons brilliantly and respectfully presented

Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum Trip from Krakow

jankoh2019, Oct 2019
We were picked up at our apartment on time. The tours of Auschwitz 1 & Auschwitz 2 (Birkenau) were thorough and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. My only criticism is that it felt rushed. I understand they tour thousands of people every day, so they have to keep the groups moving, but I wished the guide had allowed time for questions and contemplation of the scale of what occurred there. Otherwise a very worthwhile albeit emotional experience.

Good trip worth doing

Catherine_E, Oct 2019
Maybe felt a little rushed. But tour operator was very good and spoke brilliant English. Bus driver picked us up on time. Easy booked and confirmed with email. Highly recommend

Every human being has to visit this place

Roman O, Sep 2019
The pick up and drop off was great and on time. The driver, sorry forgot his name, was extremely helpful and courteous. The guide Joanne was great as well, very well spoken and always with a great respect to the killed there. The only unfortunate thing was, Polish government trying to rewrite history. To the people of my generation it is very offensive and unforgivable.

Disturbing but a place you must visit

Ceri_S, Sep 2019
Very well organised tour. The video on the minibus gave an excellent insight into what happened in the concentration camps and then the tour guide provided more details. Everything ran exactly to time, the minibus was comfortable and clean. Highly recommended

Krakow trip

Shawn_D, Aug 2019
Picked up on time , it was well organised , cannot fault it, would use again . We used same company for taxi pick up from airport , would use again .

Paid respect to the victims of the holocaust..

Jacqueline_T, Aug 2019
The history was explained well. But the tour was quite fast as i was not able to reflect, pray, and see the memorial.

Amazing and tear jerking

Fritz_L, Aug 2019
Very good trip and well organized by the company. Interesting, extremely informative and you skip the long queues. It is very tear jerking and sad to see the exhibits and what the people went through. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and this company is amazing. Well organized and speak English.

Auschwitz Tour

Kim W, Jun 2019
Excellent well organised trip. Our guide was knowledgeable and sympathetic to the sensitive information he was relaying to us as we walked around the camp.

Auschwitz

Mark_S, Apr 2019
This was a very informative and interesting tour but also very sad to see how the nazi’s abused and murdered over 1 million people . Our tour guide was knowledgable and kept us engaged throughout. If you’re going to Krakow this is a must see.

Moving experience

Deborah_M, Sep 2018
This was a heart-wrenching, sobering experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke English very well.

Very good organization of the tour!

Gregory_K, Jul 2018
Picked up on time...a very good guide for the tour. Excellent driver. The day was a somber one with prayers and tears. I am glad I witnessed the result of the lowest form of human life...the Nazi's....doing things to other innocent human beings that was below what animals do. They all should be in hell.

Stacy_L, Jun 2018
It's really difficult to put into words how the experience was at Auschwitz and Birkenau. It's something that I think everyone should understand and appreciate. It was completely unplanned but we booked to visit on the 78th anniversary since they were used as concentration camps. There were certain areas we were not able to go into, which was completely justified and we understood. It was nice to see the Polish army dressed and a commemoration for those lost in the times the camps were open, were remembered. Our guide, Margaret, was absolutely incredible, so knowledgeable and very honest about her feelings about the camps and what happened. I thought she made the trip a brilliant one and we'd recommend her highly. The feeling you get in the camp is indescribable, but I would suggest actually listening and taking in where you are rather than taking photographs every 2 seconds like some of our group did. Some parts were particularly difficult to see, such as children's items and some pictures, and hard to imagine the traumas the people kept there faced. It wasn't a 'nice' experience, but an interesting and important area of our history that everyone should see in their lifetime. Some recommendations I would make are: Don't take children. There was a young girl in our group who was too young to understand and you could tell she was bored. It's an immensely long walk so wear flat/comfortable shoes. We got a good experience and understanding but we were a bit rushed at the end as most of the group were then going on to the Salt Mine so they had to stick to a time frame. Fair enough but we'd have liked to ask our guide some more questions and take in the experience a bit more. Overall, an excellent tour to gain a small insight into such a big historical event.

Eva_V, Mar 2018
Very good guide. A petty that she had to speak so fast and that we had to move quickly from 1 place to the other because other groups were close behind us. Very sad place but worth visiting because the world may never forget what happened back then.

I very much loved the tour, It certainly did open my eyes and got a better understanding about the horrific events that happened many years back during the holocaust. I definitely would recommend this tour and would like to visit again some day, tour guide needs to slow down a bit and not rush it.

The local Krakow agency were excellent switched into English once they knew, picked me up and returned me to my apartment. They took all of the worry out of a stranger in a foreign country wishing to visit Auschwitz. Highly recommended. The Auschwitz experience was extraordinary and I'm still processing it!.
