Tour good/ sales not!

Points of interest and lunch were great! High pressure sales at the leather shop was not good and sales personnel got mad when we tried to leave and yelled at us as we walked away.

The tour itself was good but the guide was the worst guide we have ever had. He was not interested to walk with us on the tour and at times ( mostly ) was 50 metres ahead. He mainly only spoke to us when we were inside a mosque. He also had an argument with another person on our tour and literally screaming inside the lunch restaurant....which , by the way was good. People were left behind or ended up lost because he had no care. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company unless they ditched the guide !!

Thank you so much for you very kind feedback. But first of all we would like to remind you that you were with a group of 23 people on the same tour and guide must lead the group with walking in the front with his flag in order to make the people follow him and NOONE got lost on that day. In this kind of tours all the guides give the necessary information when they enter the sites with their groups. On the other side in the same tour we had different nations, different cultures in the same group, unfortunately the lady who argued with the guide could not speak enough english and misunderstood the meeting time after the bazaar and some of the members of the group have already informed us about that issue and they all mentioned that guide was very clear on giving the meeting time. We are sorry to receive a negative feedback about our guide who is working for us more than 20 years.

Interesting and insightful. However your experience is very much dependent on the guide. The day is busy and traffic can be challenging. Our guide was rushed and uninterested. He only provided the bare bones information and wasn't really into it. We saw other guides that were more informative

We are really sorry to see your 3star rating about our service. Depending on your feedback we would like to clarify that this was a regular tour and we have a time schedule to obey like our guide did. As you know if you do the same itinerary on your own you need minimum 2 days to see cover all. On the other hand we contacted our guide and he mentioned that even in Topkapi Palace he did not let you to see any sections on your own and he made you visited every chambers together. He especially mentioned that you were the first one who rejected to wait in the que of Holy Relics Section. Maybe you have seen other customers who have special interest tours and stay in every site longer. We do the same kind of tours and spend a full day just in Topkapi Palace or 5 hours in Hagia Sophia. Maybe you could ask for a private special interest tour.

Comprehensive and Fun Tour

This tour was a terrific introduction to the most famous monuments in Istanbul. Our tourguide Mehmet kept things light so we had a lot of laughs as we learned the history of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar and much more. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and kept things moving so we got a lot in during our time. Definitely recommend for a first-time visitor to Istanbul.
