      DIY with little supervision

      This is not much of a workshop. The owner of the studio is lovely, but she just provides the materials and somewhat unclear instructions and minds her own business for the next 90 min. Each particiapant in our group was given two tiles with pre-carved design and a set of paints and next time we saw the “instructor” was when she emerged from the adjacent room and announced “you need to finish by noon”. Also, the selection of pre-designed tiles was limited: letters of the alphabet, cats, or dogs series, and architecture. We had fun chatting as a group and doing the painting, but the instructor hardly can take a credit for our good time.

      Hi, it is Q, your instructor. I felt so sorry that you were not satisfied with my performance, and you felt neglected. In our past experience, people coming as small groups preferred to have their "we" time rather than having a stranger (me) sitting next to them. That is why I kept you three on your own, and only asked you occasionally whether you needed any help. Anyway, sorry for my wrong assumption on your preference. We will take note for our upcoming workshop and thank you for your honest feedback.
