Guided personal tour around HK
Wendy contacted us before we arrived and asked what we wanted to see. We had asked to be taken up the Peak but low cloud meant we wanted to leave it until another day
Wendy was completely unfazed by the last minute change and provided an interesting and informative day for us all.

We toured Hong Kong Park, jumped aboard the Star Ferry, the Sky 100, walked the promenade, and then toured “Brooklyn of Kowloon”. We had a great time with Dennis who shared cultural information, info about the sights and food insights. Was a terrific day!

Dennis was my tour guide for this tour. Dennis was very dedicated, understanding and very helpful. The tour was fantastic for me and I can only recommend it. Dennis took me to the most important places in Hong Kong, as described in the advertisement, but also to "inconspicuous" places that you don't even notice as a tourist. These inconspicuous places, together with Dennis' explanations, helped me a lot to understand more about the history and people of Hong Kong.
I can only recommend this tour!

We set up a 6 hour tour with Alfred. We needed to change the start time and he was able to accommodate it. We provided him a few things that we wanted to see, which he was able to work into our tour. He took us to all the important sites and had the vast historical knowledge of Hong Kong. He took us to a great restaurant to experience local food. The walking pace was great and our twin 9 year old's were able to keep up.
Great job and would recommend him to anyone wanting to see Hong Kong's sites and sounds. We would use him again when we visit Hong Kong in the future.

I had an excellent tour with Alfred. Alfred took me to all the places of interest I requested. We saw the Peak, the sea side and a fish village. I particularly enjoy the Victoria prison and the garden at Diamond Hill. Alfred was extremely knowledgeable on the different elements of the history and culture of Hong Kong.

Your guide had a family emergency or illness and no one notified me that she had contacted VIATOR (Unscripted Tour) but no one notified me of this development. I arrived 10 minutes before the meeting time (9:00am), I was staying in Kowloon, so had to take a taxi across the harbor to the Central Post Office on HK Island in order to begin my 6 hour tour promptly at the appointed time. After numerous calls to the various toll free numbers listed and attempting to reach my guide via email, I finally learned that my excursion had been cancelled. So, I waited an hour & 15 minutes in the damp weather, in a desolate part of the city for a tour that never happened. VIATOR was responsible for notifying me of this change in events as soon as they knew! It's not like they DID NOT have my contact information!! Very disappointing since this was my last full day in Hong Kong.
VIATOR is in the process of refunding my fee for the tour and I have requested $15 taxi fare in addition. They've also offered a complimentary UNSCRIPTED TOUR in the future but I am hesitant to use them again.

Charles was an excellent guy… He knew all the facts and was eager to share his local knowledge. he took us to the open air Fish market, how to select lobster and scallops and then helped us to get them cooked! He was full of good information and very personable.

Victor was great! He showed us the “local” side of Hong Kong and really immersed us into the day to day life. Highly recommend!!

The tour was supposed to take 5 to 6 hours. It took 8. We even had to request for it to end as it was becoming exhausting.
At the end of the tour the guide said that he would give us the extra time free. This made us feel very uncomfortable.
The two items we specifically requested to see were tacked on to the end of the tour and had to be rushed.
At no point during these 8 hours where we ever asked if we would like to drink or eat something.
Further, the guide spent a large amount of his time on the phone and also took pictures of us without asking our permission
There were many other incidences which would take to long to list.

Our guide Victor was absolutely great!! Very knowledgeable about GIs city, he shared a lot of information about its history and its current situation. We did a lot of walking all around, time just flew by!!

I had a tour by Angel around Hong Kong. Angel was extremely knowledgeable about Hong Kong and the different islands. We went to the big Buddha statue. I had an extremely good time. I enjoyed the vegetarian meal that the was part of the visit to the statue. I would highly recommend Angel's tour.

Victor met me at the Disneyland Hotel, which meant a lot as I traveled solo. One thing I did not expect is the extensive survey you get to match you with a guide. We went to The Peak and even visited Monopoly Dreams (I am big into board games). Taking a few different trains was great, as I am also a train buff. He also found places to eat since I am Vegan. Lastly, he made suggestions for the rest of my stay, and he did not feel like a guide but a friend.

What a great way to see Hong Kong. Wai Lok designed a really good itinerary which comprised both the main sights and history, together with a visit to a more local area including a fascinating food market. We loved travelling on the tram, ferry and metro, something we wouldn't have had the confidence to do without assistance. Highly recommended!

A free day in Hong Kong. What to do and how to do it? At almost the last minute (4 days in advance) on Viator we hired a private guide for a 6 hour tour. The guide provided, Victor, as excellent. Sorry that only 5 star rating is available. Between suggestions from friends and Victor, we worked out an itinerary and met Victor at the agreed upon place. Off we went. The pace was such that my wife and I desired with me stopping frequently to take a picture (rather serious amateur photographer). At many stops Victor used his iPad (or equivalent) to show up pictures of "what was" there, as he provided us with interesting and very informative information about that area. We went for six hours straight, no lunch break (our choice) and Victor accommodated our wishes.
Bottom line... HIGHLY recommended !!!.
