A very unique experience! After all the walking, there’s nothing better than having a nice soak in the mineral baths at the onsen. If you’re a bit unsure about onsen etiquette, you’re given a flyer with a list of do’s and don’ts that are all very clear (and in my experience, people are generally helpful if you look a little lost in the onsen as well). I was recovering from a short bout of food poisoning and an hour spent in the baths (plus an hour long nap), had me feeling almost good as new!

This was simply a full relaxing experience . What a gift! Kazuki, my guide picked me up and explained to me how Onsen baths work. The onsen we went to is located in the city. It has outdoor (highly recommended) and outdoor bath facilities. It also has a big sauna. Do not miss this opportunity to pamper yourself.
