We had a very enjoyable trip. We learned how to make bamboo fish traps, and the lunch was also very delicious. We also learned how to make a traditional Vietnamese conical hat. Overall, it was a very pleasant and meaningful experience.

My family and I had such a great experience on this tour! We did the incense and hat village and were hooked onto every word our amazing guide said. Huy was filled with information and was very accommodating. He made sure to help us take Instagram worthy pictures. Make sure you opt for the lunch as well - it felt like a Sunday lunch with such hearty and delicious food. My only suggestion/complaint is to try choose the private tour or be prepared for some hectic roads as you start to leave Hanoi as the roads tend to be quite bumpy.

We only did the Insense village with Huy and met him there as we stopped at the village on route from Tam Coc to Hanoi. Huy has very good English and is very knowledgeable about the industry. He gave us a factory tour and then he used my camera to help us get the best poses in the finished insence displays.

This trip was a lot of fun. Several villages work together to process the bamboo into incense sticks and hats of bamboo. Very enthusiastic guides and delicious food at the village that made the hats. I would definitely recommend going there. Toppie!!!!!
