Fraud, do not trust Viator

I thought incorrectly that Viator was a reputable company, but after tour company told me they would not be able to get me to my Halong Bay cruise in time, Viator refused a refund.

Dear Norman Lee, Oh, it is so funny story and I would like to tell with our audience: 1) Before travel date: Oct 8: You want to get Halong before 11:30, and we have 2 options: Shuttle bus and Limousine bus and I explained that shuttle bus can not reach Halong before 11:30. If you want to arrive in Halong earlier, please amend this booking and choose Limousine bus. If you want to cancel in advance, we will accept according to Viator policy 24 hours at that travel time, you can get full refund. However, you ignored our message and you didn't say anything that they want to cancel or change. You can check on Viator/Tripadvisor Experience system. What should we do? We keep the same in the original booking. 2) What happened at that travel date Oct 8: 07:50 Our tour guide will come your hotel and pick up as normal. Reception said that you went out and our tour guide was waiting you at hotel lobby. I have contacted you via inbox of Viator / Tripadvisor and call to your phone number. No answer until 8:19, you answered that you were in somewhere far the pick-up point. You still kept us and other guests (more than 20 people) on bus waiting.... we asked many times: would you like to take this bus or you want to change? no answer again, nothing we received. I feel that you are very rude people and you didn't care about that many people were waiting their answer. Other guests are very kind and they were patient to wait you until 08:45 and after that, we need to leave Hanoi. We lost many times to contact you and your hotel to check if you came back. We lost 1 hours working of many staff for you, it's so crazy and funny to ask us refund. What is in your mind now? I hope that you are educated people and you can understand what did you make trouble to us and other guests. We need to receive "SORRY & THANK YOU LETTER" from you after our efforts to find you than this required refund and review 1 star. Keep calm and think about that. Thank you & best regards, Daisy
