I took this tour through the agency in Hanoi and I absolutely loved every moment of it. I love the cave, the bamboo ride and the lunch on the boat. The tour guide Tom, was very professional, informative and caring. Everything went well and I wish to have more time exploring such an amazing site. I highly recommend this trip to who have a very limited time in Hanoi or want to water up and escape Hanoi for a day so.

With over 8 hrs in a mini bus for around a 4 hr tour we found it to be a bit boring the tour itself was ok but if not time poor I would not do a day tour.

Halong Bay landscape is a masterpiece. On the day I travel, the weather is not too hot and clear weather, perfect for a visit. My first time to Halong and I am really impressed with scenery. Expected that it is very crowded there but not too much. Maybe I travel on a luckly day. Next time I am back, I will definitely spend more time like stay overnight on a cruise and bring a better camera to capture its full beauty. The tour organizer is also very professional. I enjoy the guidance of Tom, our guide. Tom is very thorough, attentive, and friendly. I also love the lunch very much, plus some complimentary dessert on the way back to harbor. Really no fault. Go visit Halong at least for a day, you will not regret.

Perfect affordable way to explore Halong Bay ! I highly recommend this tour, especially with Viet Dragon cruise. We took this tour yesterday and the experience was over the top! The cruise was way beyond any expectation we had. Great boat, comfort bus, good food, professional tour guide and amazing service. This was one of our best experiences visiting Vietnam. You won't regret it!

This was a such a fantastic journey and highly recommend it to anybody staying in Hanoi and wanting to squeeze in Halong Bay for the day.The tour was well organised, we drived about 2.5hours and stopped for toilet break then continued our journey to Halong Bay, we then spent around 4 hours on the cruise including visiting spectacular Thien Cung cave and kayak within 25 minutes. The boat trip itself was perfect with a great Vietnamese lunch and plenty of photo opportunities of the bay. Also, millions thanks to our fantastic tour guide Tom who was friendly, knowlegable and enthusiastic, provided us with a lot of interesting information along the way and all in all looked after us well. Make sure you include it in your itinerary for Hanoi and try to ask for Mr San, you won't regret it !

Halong Bay in Vietnam was one of the highlights of my Vietnam trip. About 3hrs drive away form the capital of Hanoi, this UNESCO heritage site is definately a firm favourite for environment and landscape lovers. Cruise along the Halong Bay sea and be dazzled by the hundreds of limestone caves that stand out majestically on their own.This is a great ideal for escaping the bustle and hustle Hanoi city. Although i did not have the chance to stay overnight on board the junk due to the lack of time, I believe that if one is planning a trip to Halong Bay in future, it is definately worth while. Also, try visiting the floating seafood markets. They serve really authentic local catch and moreover, the food is really fresh and refreshing. Nonetheless if one is visiting Hanoi, do make Halong Bay a stop in your trip.
