We booked this tour specifically because it included the Temple of Literature, however we were not taken there and not mentioned by the guide. When we contacted Viator they didn’t comment on why this was excluded and blatantly accused us of asking for a partial refund just to get money back for no reason. They would not even reply to our comment why this temple visit had not been on the trip. They were very difficult to deal with , slightly aggressive and a complete lack of customer service. We ended up visiting the Temple of Literature on our own the next day with an audio guide, probably a lot cheaper and more enjoyable. I absolutely cannot recommend Viator in anyway.

The tour was good, but it can be shorter. One may not need a guided tour for the places we visited with a guide. Our guide was fine.

We had a fantastic tour guide, Nam. He was knowledgable, excellent English, friendly and professional with a great personality. Our hotel was located in the Old Quarter, so we opted out of that part of the tour, but the rest of the tour was fascinating, educational and beautiful.
