The carts are a short walk outside the cruise terminal gates (10 min or less). There was no signage but it was easy to find and locate which cats were for Watkins. Alll the golf cart companies are in the same area. Watkins had our name on the list and it was super easy to hop in the cart and leave. They had a map if you ask for it. We filled our cart up with gas before we returned it. The cost to refill the tank was $8 and there is a gas station very close to the parking lot where you return the cart. Street and direction signs on the island are sparse, but with the map we were able to find our way around. There are donkeys everywhere. The lighthouse was interesting with beautiful views from the grounds to the sea. The old Navy base was visible but there is no access to the old buildings.

This is the WORST company to book with. There was no signage to indicate where/who to check in. There were at least a dozen companies.
The cart wouldn’t accelerate without using the gas pedal and choke to move. Absolutely NO BRAKES! When stopping at a stop sign to move again, gas pedal, choke and then a LOUD backfire that scared my children. We turned it in after an hour due to how poorly the golf cart ran. I would not recommend anyone to the company. No map or information provided when we met the attendant.

The island had no WiFi so couldn’t contact the operator as the directions that were on the instructions were not clear and we couldn’t find them so missed out on even using the golf cart. We asked around and people the workers said we had to go outside the gate. Very upsetting. Wouldn’t recommend.

I was given wrong information online when booking. They said they would be on the gangway near the port for drop off and pick up, they were about a 20 min walk away. I was told $10.00 to give for gas and when we got there they changed it to $15.00 and asked for a tip.

We had to walk out of the port to get the golf cart. Directions were not very good. Golf cart was sturdy.

I would not recommend using Watkins, we had a horrible experience with them, the guy was 45 mins late to give us our golf cart and honestly all of his carts were wore out, he only showed us as reserving one cart and I tried to explain to him several times that I had a voucher for 2 carts. Once we got the carts, we had not been on the road a mile and one of the carts quit working and never started back so we had to go back to get him and again nowhere to be found waited another 30+ minutes for him to return and follow us with another cart.
Once we returned the carts for the day he wanted to argue that I only paid for one cart and that I owed him the 2nd cart he would not listen to anything we had to say and would not look at the credit card charges for both carts, he called someone a couple of times and finally we just got aggravated and told him we were leaving to get with Viator, he did get a call back and said the found the 2nd charge, this was very frustrating and we would never use them again.
Watkins excuse was they had 300 bookings that day, we only seen about 10 carts sitting there so I'm not sure what was going on.

We broke down twice, but they were pretty quick to get to us and fix the problem, electrical issues. They did give us $50 back on the two carts since we had issues. We just didn't trust stopping, so we didn't see all we could have on the island.

Unfortunately, I had poor experience. When we arrived at pick up place we found out golf cart canceled. They did get us another one, however had to pay cash. Was also over charged. We were charged the same price for 6 seater (which was what I paid at booking). We received 4 seater and had to pay the price.

Was a bit hesitant at first just off the reviews but everything turned out smoothly. You have to meet them outside the gates outside of the port it’s a little sketchy walk at first but you will find all the golf carts right outside the gate. Great experience

There are no signs to direct you to the correct golf cart company. Once outside of the cruise area gate, there is just a line of golf carts with people not willing to help! To begin, the golf cart was in bad condition. The steering was horribly off, the brakes weren’t very good and the gas gauge didn’t work! When picking up the golf cart, I was asked if I wanted to refill the gas or pay them $10 to refill and I asked if it was a full tank and they said the gauge didn’t work and I could check if I wanted to. I would not recommend renting from this company. I didn’t have high expectations, but it didn’t even meet my lowered expectations! On a positive note, they did give us a map.

Being able to go where you want to go and not follow a group was wonderful.
The only problem we had is, was it could have gone a little faster and not putt putt, especially uphill.
You can pick and choose where you want to eat.

The cart was very worn! No muffler! We had a flat tire and had to have Trevor come to replace the tire which took away from our time exploring the island. The cart we were given was not what was advertised.

Was easy to find once we could figure out where the exit of the cruise port actually was (not a fault of the rental company of course). Very nice and friendly. Only real complaint was that the governor on the cart should be removed, or let out so that you can go faster. It was ridiculously slow. And it is so easy to do with just a few youtube videos. Otherwise a good value! Was nice to find some beaches that were not crowded, and to see the lighthouse

This wasn’t a smooth process. We rented and confirmed a booking and showed up to the operator saying they didn’t have a cart for us. Said it was cancelled. Tried to get more $ from us for another one. We declined. Then we get a phone call an hour later stating they’re waiting for us. We went back to same person we had already spoken too and they had a golf cart ready for us. Very disorganized and disappointing. We will probably not rent again. We did have a good time after all of the mess of getting one.

The vendors were very nice, but the golf cart we got had to be the loudest on the island. It was gas powered rather than electric like others I saw. No street signs visible and the map was almost useless. Other tourists we encountered were driving around totally lost and confused. We discovered along the way that the brakes didn't work and reverse wouldn't engage. The locals were very friendly though and helped us get the cart resituated and we were on our way again. I would recommend either taking a tram tour if you want to see the island or take a golf cart to one of the gorgeous beaches and parking it there for the duration.

Golf carts are a great way to get around Grand Turk, and I highly recommend using one. But I also highly recommend that you use a different company. They were very hard to find - they were outside the entrance to the port facility (which I can understand), but they don't have a sign or anything. There's just some people sitting there with some golf carts, and you'll have to ask multiple people to get you to the right place.
And then the golf carts themselves..... well, they are really not great. We had a hard time starting ours quite a few times. We had to jiggle the ignition key, while pressing the accelerator, and pulling the throttle. We had four adults. The back was already not very supported so, if you went over a bump or something, you were definitely bottoming out. Lastly, they give you a vehicle with "some gas" (not full by any means, and then expect you to put gas in it..... ummm, really? how much gas did it have in the first place? If you want it to be filled up, give me a vehicle that is full when I get it.
Bottom line, use another company.

Rented 2 gold carts and pick up was easy right outside the gate. We drove up to the lighthouse and back through different areas of the island. One cart was great, the other was just ok. Would rent again.

I realize things work on Island time but no rep was there with a sign to meet us as we were told by the printed reservation. Someone looked at our receipt and questioned if we had paid in full or not and gave us a golf cart (they would be reimbursed by Watkins.) It was not in good shape. The steering was bad but I did appreciate them doing this. The phone number on the reservation paper did not work. We basically had no option or recourse at the time.

The golf cart was old which is fine if it works. When we stopped it took a minute to get it started again. There was no reverse so we had to push it out a couple of times. We had never been to island so we were asking places to go and there was none.

Ordered a 6-seat golf cart, so we could be all together. No signs at all, when we came out of the cruise area, a couple people pointed to a gentleman and told us to talk to him. After chatting, they gave us 2 good carts (one in very rough shape) to use. Gas was to be replaced before returning to them ($7+ per gallon). They did give us a map and reviewed to point us in the right direction and then reminded us to drive on left side of road there.
