Stefan was an amazing guide to Gozo! Our group spent the day smiling and laughing as he shared the history and culture of the island. We saw so much and only wish we had a whole week to enjoy the beauty and fun all around us. Highly recommend!

Be mindful of the weather - dress appropriately. It was a wonderful experience and a beautifully active day. Highly recommend!

Absolutely horrendous!!

Gordon_S, Apr 2026
Absolutely horrible!!!!! They forgot we were on the tour after we waited and phoned and then said they were all booked and had no room.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Gordon,, Thank you for your review - all details pertaining to your pick up point and time were communicated. At the time we advised we could not locate you.. Apologies for missing the tour but there wasn't much we could do if you missed the transport. Regards Yippee team

Complete failure

Catherine_B, Apr 2026
Viatour is not a reliable company as after waiting for an hour at the assigned time and place no one came to get us.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

We apologize for your experience but this not the fault of Yippee. We don't deserve a one star for some else mistake

Full in travelling to and around Gozo.

Valerie_S, Apr 2026
9 full hours from Valletta. Emiliano great guide. Only 4 in tuk tuk couldn’t have coped with 6. Lunch above expectation. Overall grand full day out.

Beautiful scenery but disappointing trip

clare_e, Apr 2026
Ahmed and Joe were fantastic and full of information. The sights we were taken to were amazing. Unfortunately the lunch let the whole trip down. We were told to use the napkin as a side plate for 1st course which consisted of 8small pieces of bread, 4 sun-dried tomatoes, some beans, a small amount of cheese. So barely a mouthful each for 6 people. The main was penne pasta which should have had a tomato sauce on but was dry with no flavour and at this point we left the restaurant and were told there was a dry sponge pudding for dessert. The Tuk Tuk itself had seen better days. It was a cold and rainy day and did not have full coverage down the sides and none on the back. The driver who collected us to take us to the ferry was on video calls the whole trip there and on the return the same happened but he also had his wife and child with him.

A good way to see all the main sights on Gozo

Sarah_W, Apr 2026
I think this was quite a good trip. Due to the high winds we didn't do the blue lagoon etc and I think when this happens, it should be reflected in the amount you pay. Our guide was good, very pleasant guy. He gave us enough information without overloading us. He brought us to so many fantastic locations. Places I definitely wouldnt have seen had I done it alone. I was glad that our tuk tuk only had 3 people due to cancellations so I had the back seat to myself. I don't see how you could comfortably fit 6 adults in them to be honest and glad I didnt have to find out . I would have felt very uncomfortable squished up against strangers. Tuks tuks kept us nice and dry in the journey. If you have a bad back or any chronic pain or get motion sickness, the tuk tuk might not be for you. The roads are terrible and very windy. You would be in a lot of pain. The lunch was not great at all to be honest. A little picky plate for starter of Maltese fare. The main course was plain pasta with a tomato sauce and desert was a sliver of choc cake.

Avoid if no boat element and verify route with driver.

Sarah_O, Apr 2026
The tour guide skipped stops (including the cliffs and the temples). When I asked about the temples (the stop I booked to see) his response was 'oh sh*t'. It was too late to include them. He pointed out I could see the temples online. Food was basic but fine. The weather meant we couldn't sail. There was no real alternative plan. We drove around for a few hours and then headed to the boat. If you're booking this tour, check the weather forecast first. And run through the itinerary with your driver before you take off. My tour guide was a nice guy, I just think this is an industrial level tour company (so many tour buses arriving at once to split into separate groups) that the term 'private' didn't give me the experience I expected. And their drivers clearly aren't briefed properly.

A day out and an adventure.

alireza_b, Mar 2026
Had a great time. The Tuk Tuk broke down a couple of times during the day. However, Andrew made sure that no matter what setbacks we had, we were able to make the most of the day.

Perfect way to explore the island

Elena_O, Mar 2026
Herman was perfect. Indicating all the points from the beginning, he made the day smooth and pleasant while visiting all the sights on the island. Thanks a lot for the marvellous day

A great way to experience Gozo

James_N, Mar 2026
An electric tuktuk is a great way to see Gozo. It's usually done as a group of six, so you will probably share with other people. It's pretty quiet, so the running commentary from the driver is easily heard. Our careful but confident driver, Emilio, was from Sicily, and his vocal outrage at the often poor standard of driving by other road users just added to the fun.

Good, but disorganised and bad food

Elizabeth_F, Mar 2026
The pick up from the hotel was on time and prompt. The mini bus was jam packed with people even sitting next to the driver, and will only wait 5 mins before leaving the hotel. Once we arrived at the ferry station it was a swarm around the workers to say your name and receive wrist bands with what your excursion is and directions to which ferry to board. The boat trip itself had very loud music and was worryingly fast/ horizontal- not very relaxing. Once we arrived in Gozo again you had to swap the Yippee staff to figure out which tuk-tuk etc. was yours. Ours was about 400m away from all the others as there were loads of tour buses parked immediately in front of where the boat docked. Apparently two members of our party were on a seperate boat meaning everyone else left on their tuk-tuk about 30 minutes before us, we had to sit and wait for the other two people to arrive. The tuk-tuk itself was cool, but i wouldn’t recommend if you are of a larger size, as my partner and I are of average build (as with the other lady on our row) and none of us could sit fully flat against the back rests due to shoulders touching. Our guide was informative and fun, but who our guide was changed after the fist stop due to language issues with another tour. Our second guide was awesome and very informative! This part of the trip was great and I would do the actual tuk tuk around Gozo again, as you go to everywhere you would want to see (check the Yippee website as the places are different than listed here) and have plenty of time in each. The lunch was awful. At a sports bar. A sharing platter with four pieces of bread, some olives, one small wheel of feta, some sun dried tomatoes, and some capers between 4 people (two of which were strangers), followed by a ‘traditional’ dish of pasta pie, and then a single biscuit. I would suggest to the tour company to offer a cheaper self catered version of this trip for €10 less, as the food was really grim. The boat trip back was interesting. Again we had loud club music playing and the boat was almost vertical with the speed it was going. We reached the blue lagoon and some caves and stopped for a bit. We went in March-too cold for swimming so wasn’t offered to us. The captain then had to turn us around as they had lost someone, but then received a call that all was well. There was a raffle on the boat? but no one sold us raffle tickets?? Figuring out which bus back was the right one was also chaotic and disorganised as per. TLDR; Any point that involved changing transport was disorganised, but the tuk tuk tour and the guide was fabulous! The food was awful.

Hermes, the best tour guide!!!

Mari_P, Mar 2026
Tour covered the high points to visit. Our guide Hermes is an excellent communicator and driver. He gave us good flexibility for timing our stops on our tour. He is dedicated to making a great experience for everyone.

Highly recommend and would do again!!!

Shera_W, Feb 2026
We had the most fantastic day exploring Gozo with Stefan as our Tuk Tuk guide. From the moment we started, it was clear we were in expert hands. Stefan is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about Gozo’s history, culture, and hidden gems. He struck the perfect balance between sharing fascinating stories and giving us time to soak in the views, take photos, and just enjoy the ride. The route was thoughtfully planned, hitting all the must-see spots plus a few places we never would have found on our own. He was also super attentive to our pace and interests, making the whole experience feel personal rather than “touristy.” On top of that, he’s a great driver and made us feel completely safe and relaxed the entire day. If you’re visiting Gozo, do yourself a favor and book a Tuk Tuk tour with Stefan. It was hands down one of the highlights of our trip and a perfect way to see the island. Highly, highly recommended!!!

Gozo Tuk Tuk Tour

This tour was excellent, our guide and Tuk Tuk driver Emilio was funny and very knowledgeable. I recommend this to anyone looking to see all the highlights of Gozo.

Pricey, uninformative, didn’t visit everywhere on itinerary

Cassie_N, Feb 2026
While the driver was nice and drove well, he didn’t give much information. We didn’t visit all the sites on the list, I wanted to see the temples, but we didn’t go there. The lunch was edible but cheap and basic. It’s expensive for what it is.

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Dear Cassie, Thank you for taking the time to review our tour. We would like to clarify that the temples visit is an optional activity. Upon arrival in Gozo, our drivers inform all guests about this option and ask whether they would like to include it in their itinerary. We also appreciate your feedback regarding lunch and would like to inform you that we are currently in the process of updating the menu to further improve the dining experience for our guests. We always aim to provide flexibility so that our guests can choose the experience that best suits their interests, while continuously enhancing the quality of our services.

A lack of explanation

Saori_K, Jan 2026
Gozo was worth visiting, but our tour was not what we expected. It is said that visits to Blue Lagoon and Ġgantija were included, but they didn't take us either sites without any explanation. No refund was made for that. Probably the weather was not good enough to reach the Blue Lagoon and visiting Ġgantija could be optional, but at least the tour guide should explain with reasons that we cannot go there as these two sites were the main reason we chose this tour. In addition, they didn't explain us what would be served at lunchtime and left us with a snack, so our table ordered additional dishes (which we paid separately), but after we ordered, the main and dessert were served. The pasta we ordered was better than those meals (included in tour), but we would choose not to order the extra if the proper instruction was made.

Gozo Tuk-Tuk Tour

Susan_B, Jan 2026
Our guide Seif is amazing. He is personable, kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and a lot of fun! He knows so much about Gozo and the history of the island. The tuk-tuk is a fun way to travel around the island. Seif took us to some amazing locations: Cliffs, citadel, churches, salt pans, and Xlendi Bay on a very windy day. Highly recommend this tour!

Good information , nice sized group , pick up was on time and easy. First tuck tiki broke down but was replaced quickly.

We had an excellent day...

Kevin_G, Nov 2025
We had an excellent day in Gozo and got to a lot around the island. Joe our driver was an excellent guide and was very informative about the local culture and history. The Comino tour at the end was brilliant as they took the tour into some of the caves which was an amazing experience. Although we got to stop at Blue Lagoon, there isn’t changing facilities on the boat so we opted not to go swimming. The tuktuk does also feel a bit cramped with 6 people but nonetheless we still had a great day!

A fun day touring Gozo by tuk tuk. Emilio was a great guide! The salt flats and Citudella were a highlight!

Well organized

kayla_d, Oct 2025
Be prepared for about a 9 hour day. Quite a bit of the time is spent driving to the ferry port and getting to Gozo. Once there we were split into groups by language. Our guide was awesome. He's lived there for quite some time and was a breath of fresh air. The views were amazing and authentic Maltese meal was waiting on time for lunch. I never felt rushed and there was enough time at every stop. I was fortunate to have a great group and guide. In the future, I'd love to stay on the island. If you're short on time and want to experience Gozo, this is a great alternative.

Chauffeured Tuk, Tuk is the best way to see Gozo

Gae_C, Oct 2025
We recently did the Chauffeur Tuk, Tuk trip. We had the best time and our driver Joe the Brit could not have been more wonderful. He looked after our group with great care and was so informative about Gozo All Yippee staff we encountered were excellent and an additional call out to all the guys on the boats for assistance with our luggage as well. We highly recommend Yippee to anyone thinking about a trip to Gozo (An additional special mention to Caroline, Mark and our driver Joe the Brit for all the help with our luggage - which virtually had its own tour!!)

Tuk Tuk too fast and sites repetitive

Clive_O, Oct 2025
Make sure this IS what you want. Driver drove very slowly at first ("I am very safe driver you safe with me") but later went very fast and often failed to follow traffic instructions (eg "SLOW" or "STOP" "GIVE WAY". Lunch was awful we all (6 on our tuk tuk passengers) left most if ours, but the 1 1/2 glasses of wine were ok.

The can to the boat was...

Jeff_T, Sep 2025
The van to the boat was good, and the boat was all good vibes with music and a fun crew. Figuring out which Tuk Tuk was ours was frustrating as we kept getting sent to the wrong people then back again, and despite being off the boat early we ended up not sitting together. The Tuk Tuk roof makes it hard to see out of if you're more than 5'8" tall. Our driver was a nice guy- a bit of a character with lots of stories. A few stops around the island, including a shopping stop where every conveyance from this tour operator stopped, and a sub-par lunch at a pub. The coolest part was the little boat trip though the sea caves- I don't think I've ever seen a sea that blue before. Swimming at the Blue Lagoon was off the back of the boat anchored out in the Bay, so not good for less advanced swimmers.

Great Way to Explore Gozo with a Knowledgeable Guide

shumaisd, Sep 2025
We visited all the sites in Gozo as listed and overall, it was a fantastic experience and the best day of our vacation! Personally, I would have preferred to spend time at one of Gozo’s stunning beaches rather than the Blue Lagoon, since we had already done a full day there on another occasion and this was our only day on the island of Gozo. That being said, after a long day the dip in blue lagoon was refreshing! The tuk tuk itself was clean, and electric which meant a very comfortable for the ride. Our tuk tuk driver and guide, Joe, was wonderful, such a lovely man and very informative throughout the tour. This tour is truly a perfect way to explore Gozo, especially if you’re coming over from Malta, as all logistics are taken care of for you and it covers everything. The logistics did feel a bit chaotic at times, particularly when getting off the boat and back into a minibus taxi for drop-off to hotel. That didn't spoil the experience though and would 100% recommend this tour!

A fantastic day
